If you activate a trial with a 30day card does it take off some of the days? ex you only get 20 days off a 30 day card.

Edited by: Matalino on 19/10/2006 17:00:53 That's correct. There is a $5 account creation fee, if you activate using credit card. ($19.95 instead of $14.95 for the first month.) With $15 ~ 30 days, then $5 = 10 days. That's why you get 20 days if you activate using a 30 day time card. You will be charged the same account creation fee as everyone else.

That's what I thought too, but people have been reporting that they've lost no days when activating a trial account with a GTC.

Wrong, as long as you wait until your trial runs out you don't lose any time. You still get the 30 days.

So, you can go around the whole activating-your-account-with-a-cd-key by simply entering a GTC code to extent the account?
My mate will love that, seeing as i got a spare GTC ______________________________

Sorry, i need some clarification please.
You can activate your account with a GTC, that's good, I get that. When you do, they are $14.95 instead of the $19.95 that everyone else pays, except you only get 20 days of credit on the card, rather than 30. (That's what needs clarifying for me).
