Yes. This would make for more interesting fleet engagemtns and make escourting alot more vesable.

Tech 2 Battleships, Escort ships, AF/HAC resistances and similar bonus profiles. with the usual 99% reduction to the CPU need of the redirection modual.
Now on further thought prehaps this is better cuited to Elite Tier 2 Battle cruisers

I like this... the ability to extend your shield out at the cost of shield strength!

Logistic Drones Shield Transporters Remote Repair Systems
Admittedly this doesn't directly help with one salvo kills, but if you use these on support ships and remove the repair mods from the soft target there is then more slots available for hardening shields, armor and hull which makes one salvo kills a lot harder.

But this is exacthy what this would be for. 'Pests with 1400 and short range tech 2 ammo melt any kind of inty, short of a fraigher, in 1 sometimes 2 vollys. Ravens with Tech 2 rage torps? and lets not forget my fave. A fleet commander on a gate with a number of these nasty buggers calling Primary!
