attempting to stack ore that is in a can(in this case Bistot) permanently bugs the jettisoned can at random intervals.
attempting to stack piles of ore in your cargo hold (in this case Bistot) also randomly bugs the ore (had 1 stack of 116 and 1 stack of 95, chose to stack and ended up with 92 ore...???)
I have only just ran into this problem over the last couple of days.....anyone know whats going on?

I have no problem with stacking bistot, crok, or dark.
But how does 100 or so Bistot make 50 mil?
Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

Ummh I don't think she's saying that one particular incident was 50 as she' said over the last couple of days its been happening.
I've had the same problem, while mining my cargo hold which currently can hold 250m3 gets filled with more then that amount and the ore gets stuck. I eject it and if I add ore to that stack it fails to update and is stuck permanently ie its lost.
Docking sometimes fixes it. Sometimes not.
Others have been reporting a SQL database error before it gets stuck too so might be CCP problem.

After the first 20 times of losing 100 bist by stacking, you would think someone would learn not to do it.

Me and my m8s in Vector have experienced the same thing. Sometimes we cannot longer pick up the ore that we have transfered into jettisoned cans in space, we can only move it to a new can - but still nottransfer it back to ship Cargo for hauling to base.
Thus costing us both time & money.

Whenever I've had this kind of problem, relogging's always fixed it.
That was a while ago though .. maybe this is a different species of problem.

She probably means 50M over all players combined.
Happened to me and my friend last night stacking 3999 kernite and ending up with 259 kernite.
Something's buggy this week...

Stacking problems? Never heard of those in shared containers (cough cough).
CCP fixes one container bug and introduces another.
If you're using secured containers for Bistot mining, here's an idea. In station, determine how much Bistot fits in that secured container (because they seem less buggier in station). Write that number down.
Then when filling that container in space, ****-drag that ammount of Bistot into the container. It's a workaround but it works.
Jesttisoned containers? Remake them. Regularly.
