Theres already a big enough shortage of decent Drone ships (come on, how is a tier1 Battleships still the most expensive drone ship on the market?!), we coulda done with a Drone Commandship EDIT: and I don't count Ishtars, as theyy should never be that expensive anyway. Base price 18 million, and barely worth twice that -----------------------------------------------

Patch86 Di-Tron Heavy Industries	Posted - 2006.10.22 20:41:00 - [13] Fair point. But Eos isn't all that much of a brillian combat ship- being Fleet Command puts it's bonuses on warfare links. It's only drone bonus is a bay-size bonus, not a damage bonus or anything......well, useful. With the Domi's damage bonus, it puts it miles ahead of the Eos as a drone combat ship. Would'nt it be funky if they, er, "retro fited" the Eos to be the new drone-BCs model? That'd be funky...... -----------------------------------------------

But perhaps they will give one of the existing the new hull (like Nighthawk get tier 2 hull because of missile and vulture stays) ----

The Drake is a Tech 2 variant of the Nighthawk. The Absolution for Amarr. I forget the name of the new Matari battlecruiser, however it will be an autocannon platfrom like the sleipnir. However, I'm thinking that it will be less like the it's t2 variant than the others. Some of these ships have a reversal in roles, IE: The Myridomm is more Gank orientated than the Brutix (how is that even possible :D), while the Eos is more tank orientated than the Astarte. Never the less, the rest of the ships fit the pattern. It would be nice if CCP would change the hulls on the ships to reflect this, so this quest for tier 2 tech 2 battlecruisers does not echo in enternity like the "where are my resist bonuses on my Assualt Ship?" threads If you are reading a post by this character, it's probably because I'm too lazy to select my main. Just to let you know you are absolutely wrong on that. NO, the Eos is not the tech 2 variant of the myrmidon. For one, the myrmidon hasnt even been released, as it is one of the tier 2 bc's Tech 2 means it is of the same hull, but upgraded, with a different role etc. The EOS, is a gallente command ship that is of the Brutix hull. And the Drake is the tech 2 version of the vulture????? DUDE, the vulture is ALREADY a tech 2 ship, ans is the hull of a ferox.
