I never thought of it that way before. I do suppose that that jump from lvl 4 to lvl 5 is quite a lot of skill points.

Implants are nice. Not missing much training helps too, and training the areas which you character is strong in helps as well.
And buying my stuff gives you skill points, I swear.

Kind of low to accuse someone of cheating.
Some people realized during the beta if you trainied all the learning skills first, then focused on skills that used your highest attributes over time you would come out ahead. So yes, I think it is possible to have over 6 million skill points on one character and even more with the addition of implants to the game.
By the way.. that skill training bug is still in the game. Maybe one day CCP will fix it.

You guys must be doing something wrong..I started in July (not sure when release was) and I have 3.2M. I have not used any 'bugs' AFAIK, but have trained learning up to 4 on all.
Perhaps your characters don't fit the types of stuff your training?

There is a method for accelerated skill gain. It was posted on the Eve-I site long ago. While it doesn't promise the rewards of being able to fly a BS in less than a month, you certainly reap the benefits later on.

Not always the case, careful training plans, higher intelligence & memory can make all the difference.
