Well, having been to the GW area, I've met some really nice people who moved out there to get away from the big corps. True, there are pirates operating in a few locations of space making life miserable for many. Many of the alliances, such are yourself, are claiming entire regions for the sake of security, claiming you'll blow up anybody who isn't a member of your team. As an advocate for free space, I see your concern for your own well being more of a threat to peaceful citizens than anything the pirates could achieve. Sure your intentions may good at heart, but not everyone shares your view of peace through destruction, myself included. I would humbly ask that you take your forces back to curse and defend your own house, provide escorts for your members, rathern than blowing up every living thing for 3 solar systems and call it an act of self defense.

All I have to say is this is par for the course for the Curse Pirates...uh..I mean alliance. No one should be surprised by this move. SA has said all along that CA are nothing but pirates in "semi-legitimate" clothing. This further proves that SA was right to start this war as CA are aggressive expansionists. This whole scenario reminds me of Germany in 1938. Next we'll be hearing that they just need a little "breathing room".

Edited by: Danton Marcellus on 04/11/2003 00:46:09 The naxis, sure, next they'll anaxi the Geminate and lock down jovian space and the 'soon' to open new regions too. A curse indeed.
How's the war going down there, is it still FA and SA with a side order of CFS against CA or has the CA been left to pound on the CFS?
This crap with alliances of mongrels having no common denominator locking down every 0.0 region is getting mighty tiresome. Ah yes, tell me to fight a whole alliance with one corporation...

It amazes me how the ignorant often resort to petty name calling ("mongrels" "pirates") towards that which they do not understand. Firstly, I have worked closely with some in the "GWP" and honestly have nothing but good things to say about the ones I have broken pirate blockades with. Secondly, I am in the Curse Alliance and will gladly engage anyone who is deemed a threat to the CA, even if it has to be those I have worked with in the GWP. Thirdly, it seems that all of you missed this important thread in Sarkos' post which reads "As such all corporations located in the Great Wildlands must relocate elsewhere unless they have authorization from the Curse Alliance". So obviously some corps have been allowed to stay.
Now what most "GWP" members who are complaining on this forum fail to mention is that they have for a long time been planning on going up against the CA. So common sense would dictate that the CA would obviously turn its attention towards Great Wildlands as it was becoming a staging ground for its enemies to launch attacks from. The Curse Alliance cannot simply become "Fortress CA" living on the defensive is a sure formula for defeat. Instead the CA is being proactive and taking care of this before it became a real problem.
Lastly might I be able to direct you to the forum concerning the CA/CFS peace agreement, so that all of you can see that the CA is not what our detractors would have you believe. "No beast so fierce knows but some touch of pity. But I know none and therefore am no beast." |

Edited by: Nirvy on 04/11/2003 03:11:27 PLease note, this is the official bit of Spam we CA are directing at the Wildlands Corps
The Great Wildlands, a Curse Alliance protectorate, will be open for any that wish to apply for a Pass. This pass is for no charge, but allows more control for purposes of keeping known troublemakers out. Please contact Nirvy of Black Omega or Angelus Ice of The Orion Syndicate via Evemail to apply. This pass policy begins on November 10th. Until this time, all must leave the Great Wildlands region.
Passes are available, passes are free.
If you are a corp in the GW area contact one of the 2 people mentions.
One large corp has already contacted me, and after discovering they are well respected by several CA member corps myself and a leading CA figure have put them on our ignore list.
We are not asking for anything, we just want to clear out the less savoury element.
The corps that collaborated with our enemies (you know EXACTLY who you are) in an attempt to backstab us dont bother applying.
I'll leave you all to the forum madness now. It really acheives very little Mercenary | The Azath |

If you know who you are prepared to give passes to or not, then why bother? Shoot at your enemies, try not to shoot at anyone else, is all.
Claiming a region and policing your claim are two very different things. I was in N-DQOD a couple of days ago and no-one was about, not that they could have done much anyway.
Seriously, concentrate on the basics - your enemies don't care if you declare something on the forums, so just shoot them if you see them and ignore everyone else...

The Great Wildlands were claimed when we originally claimed Curse. This is the backdoor to Curse and must be protected. We have been attacked by Fountain through that route in the past.
We have not until had a large movement to secure it because we had our attention on SA and then CFS when they declared war on us. It looks like we may soon have peace with CFS. And Stain have not been much of a threat in a while. We now need to secure the entrance through GW.
All the corps that regularly operate in GW knew we had claimed the area. We would like to allow the peaceful corps there to be able to stay. We must first lock it down for a short period to get the scum out that are planning on backstabbing us.
My apologies to any innocent casualties during this process. Our intent is not too kill everyone up there.

Sure and we fly around SA at will. The difference is the SA guys mysteriously end up back at their clone station. BTW, good fight today Nickolas, Joseph X, and Power1.

Thats BS. When I moved to the GW region I asked if any alliance does claim GW and I got the answer :NO. But CA has interest in it and will patrol it. So goodey do. You can kill me cause I am not going to beg for that pass. -END OF TRANSMISSION- _______________________________________________________

Trying to think of a witty comeback and all, but, in all honesty, your sad attempt at a flame was so lame, I can't think of anything that would make you out to be more of a muppet then you have already shown.

Yes, of course... and I trust some trigger happy kiddies to actually memorize who's KOS and who's not. Or be bothered to actually check the little blue i button all to way to the Corp description (as we all know that takes aaaages to load).

Ooops, seems that you've already covered your hiney in making a mistake. Sorry, killed ya! No harm was intended...
I like to solo in Eve, I joined a NPC Corp for the heck of it in the hope that soon(tm) it'll provide me a nice storyline. Unfortunately NPC Corps don't show ticker names, so it just appears that I am in a starter corp and will hence be labeled a spy and killed.
Grand scheme this... And Oracle 'behind' it, a corp that advocates freedom for the Minmatar people.
