Elections are coming up, students are protesting, entire platets are descomated by unknown terrorists. The list goes on and on. The Federation is far from a perfect place. Yet, the principles and values it was founded upon are worth doing our part in preserving, the freedom and prosperity available to all our people should not be taken for granted. About the Phoenix Wing The Phoenix Wing was founded with a simple charter. While we alone cannot correct all the flaws and problems faced by the Federation, we can do our part as capsuleers to help along the way. We are the liberal voice in an increasingly xenofobic and militaristic age. We believe placing a monkey like Senator Blaque in office would be the worst mistake in recorded history. A mistake that will be paid for by Gallentean citizens all over the cluster. What do we offer? > A purpose > The chance to build something > RP > Free-form play > Friendly, mature players > Fun! If it is not fun, why play? What do we need > Miners > Producers > Researchers > Combat Pilots Note: All pilots should be able to handle themselves in combat. Although our main focus is not combat-related PvP at the moment, this might very well change, and we certainly do not shun a good fight. Requirements > Apply with Main. Alts will not be concidered > Minimum 18 years old, and/or a mature attitude > Do NOT take the game to seriously > Minimum character age is 3 weeks > Willingness to try out RP > The ability to use Gallente ships No member will be forced to roleplay, but we encourage giving it a go. What we don't want > Smacktalking > Arrogance > Corpjumpers > Inactive players We don't have a set lower limit on skillpoints at this time, and focus more on the attitude. We fly only Gallente ships. (With the exception of barges) We do not spew out lameass smack in local, and we keep strictly IC in channels ment for this purpose. You will be expected to help out in the very few mandatory miningoperations we have (1 so far in oct), and you will be expected to help new members get settled in. How do I apply? To apply, you should send an EVE-Mail to yours truly, Thuul'Khalat. The EVE-Mail should contain the following. 1. Number of Skillpoints to date, and a basic breakdown 2. What ships you can fly, and what ship you prefer to fly 3. Have you chosen to spec in a specific area? 4. Where do you see yourself going the next months skill-wise? 5. A brief summary of your experience so far 6. A reference from one or more of your previous corporations 7. Whetever else you wish to include A brief note on point 6, this will of course not apply if you have not been in a playerowned corporation earlier. Your EVE-Mail will either be handled by myself, or forwarded to one of the recruitment officers. After sending it, you should make yourself available in our ingame channel "Phoenixpublic" so we can have a chat with you. Judging by your thread on this forum, you're looking more for a PVP corp. If you're still interested, though, send an evemail to Thuul'Khalat and log onto the "phoenixpublic" channel so we can meet you in-game. Everybody else is also invited to, naturally...
