Hi guys, I've been looking at doing some WH diving for something new to do (C1 and C2 WHs at this stage), and have come across the issue of how to salvage the wrecks. As I can see it my options are to either bring a mobile depot and salvagers in my cargo hold, and refit after the site, or bring salvage drones and use them to salvage everything after the site is cleared. Last resort is to come back in a Thrasher.
The information on salvaging chances is not the best though, all I can find is the generic small, medium, large and advanced Sleeper BS information. Are the Sleeper BS's found in C1 and C2 WHs still advanced Sleeper BS's, or are they 'normal' Sleeper BS's?
Does anyone have any clearer information on what wrecks I can expect to salvage in a C1 and/or C2 WH with either salvage drones IV or salvaging IV (no rigs)?
Thanks :) |

Most common attempt I'm aware of is to drop a mobile tractor in a site as you land, bookmark it and scoop it once you're done. Once you ran a bunch of sites, ou do a fast round trip to salvage it. For your purposes, a salvage tackle rigged catalyst would be smart to have close by. |

It also depends on what ship you're using. For example, a Passive fit Drake can solo any C1 - C2 site with ease, it also has a utility highslot which means you can fit a salvage unit.
Mobile tractor units are you friend but also your worst enemy as they can be scanned down easily (so can Battlecruisers) and gives people a second sig to warp to. Just always assume you're being watched.
Personally, run the sites in a PvP ship and suprise and smack around any Stratios that attacks you (if it's a T3 you're buggered anyway).
Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."
