You always state "...with view to extension." yet ive never seen it happen. Why add it?

Our contactors have taken up this option twice in our recent history, the view to extension option costs a little more for the contractor, but does ensure that we are available to work for him for a maximum of 6 weeks, should he decide to take up the extension. We do not tender for contracts during that period.

I shall be hunting mercs in GW and SP then I suppose. Going to be more fun than hunting the 'gank-or-wont- fight-goonies' thats for damn sure.
