How many of you still to this day listen to the EVE music while playing. Im not sure why bu the music in this game as always intrigued me and i have always enjoyed listening to it while engaging in whatever the day would produce.
I also listen to my favorite genre of course at times but i always go back for a session of some good old eve symphony playing while i watch my fish bowl in space.
How many of you still listen to it. Even better, how many have turned every light out until its pitch black in front of you and listened to it in a disturbingly satisfying volume.
Destiny always seems decades away, but suddenly it's not decades away; it's right now. But maybe destiny is always right now, right here, right this very instant, maybe.

I have removed a rule breaking post.
The Rules: 5. Trolling is prohibited.
Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.
And on topic, yes, I do have the music turned on in game. Although not always at the volume I would like, as that most definitely would lead to some raised eyebrows from my dear wife. If not from our lovely kids, who of course by definition find anything their old man listens to old fashioned crap....

I do, but unfortunately I have to listen to it out of game because someone, somewhere thought it was a good idea to remove the jukebox and leave nullsec with..... "music" while the rest of space gets the good stuff.
This game has a fantastic OST, but the mid-90's synth voice yell I hear periodically in space doesn't count as music =( |

I totally agree. I was disappointed to see the jukebox removed. Im sure the reasons for its removal was justified in some way, but i would like to see it perhaps re-implemented one day.

I do. I even have the mp3s on my phone
I wish they hadn't removed some of the best tracks though. |

Red Glowing Dust
I used to listen to this all the time... I don't think I've heard it in-game since the jukebox removal update. Where do I have to go to hear this? |

I can't play Eve without loading up the old music.
When I learned the jukebox was gone from the game and before I learned that the songs were available on soundcloud, I honestly was probably NOT going to reactivate my account because I wouldn't have that music while playing.
God. Like, 12-15 of those songs just really resonate with me. As cheesy as it sounds, when I start playing Merchants, Looter, and Ghosts or Precious Ore or Red Glowing Dust while I'm staring at the space of New Eden, I can't help but smile a little. |

Thanks but I meant where can I hear it in-game.
Does it play in a certain region or system? Or is it simply gone from the game?
Edit: Eurgh, listening to all these songs is so nostalgic! |

All the songs just play in a random order by default from what i can gather. I havent seen any other way to play the tracks separately.

Random tracks play depending on the faction space and security level.
There are songs for Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, and Minmatar space. Lowsecurity has its own tracks (irregardless of the region), and nullsecurity has the ambient sound. |

Miner Stories...
Good times. I still don't understand why they removed the Jukebox. If players wanted to turn music off and listen to empty echoes then they could have...
BRING BACK THE JUKE BOX AND ALL OF THE MUSIC!!!
And I'm aware its available on soundcloud. Not the point. |

it all depends on the mood. Sometimes i use the ingame music. Love when you get into a gate and the music changes to a more beat music. But somtimes just pandora, spotify or some local music works. I usually don't put music in roams, that way i can focus. |
