1. Sticky:[March] Rorqual and Mining changes - in Upcoming Feature and Change Feedback Center [original thread]
Are there any immediate plans concerning excavator drone prices? I know the "rorqs shouldn't be used without 1/3 of new Eden's super fleet next door to defend you, you pathetic pubbie" argument that a lot of people like to throw around... but 11 ...

When I started back to Eve about a year ago, Facebook suggested the RL page of a player who was in my corp back when I first played in 2006-2007 who no longer actually plays Eve at all. I didn't have Facebook back then. I'm on new computers since ...

3. Trit floor at 5 isk? - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Why has trit been hovering so very close to 5 isk for the last month? It trended downwards until mid-december, and then as soon as it got to 5 it leveled out. Is there something artificial affecting the price at that point, or is it just a coincid...

4. What's the role of an orca? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Eh. I take back what I was concerned about. I just expected its role was supposed to be a direct stepping stone between porpoise and rorq. The porpoise is fast and cheap while providing decent boosts and adequate support. The rorqual is immobile ...

5. What's the role of an orca? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Sure, it fits more base boosts and boosts a tiny bit better and has a lot more cargo and has an sma and has stronger drones. But at 10 times the cost of the much more agile porpoise... does it really have a role? Its boosts are only minimally b...

9. Null-sec Mining Fleet composition - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Everything depends on what changes they make with the rorq. We don't know if it will need to be sieged still to provide the boost buff, we don't know what kind of yield the mining fighters will have, we don't know exactly how combat capable the ro...

It literally doesn't matter what they do with mining, boosts, the rorq, or anything else. Mineral prices achieve an equilibrium by supply and demand. Messing with anything that affects the supply of minerals will just cause mineral prices to trend...
