- Amarr armor MUST BE SECOND TO NONE. Seriously. Make us slow and hard to turn, but dam-it, there isn't any reason why we can be out-tanked by any other race.
Again, to summerize:
Strengths: Laser's do great damage in medium to long ranges. Armor is the strongest there is or can be. Meant to be the 'meat' of any fleet engagement where destroying the enemy is the utmost importance.
Weaknesses: Weak against ECM (what's that computer thingy-majig do?). Weak against short-range encounters (note the Jovian conflict). Lack of variation on weaponry (little to no missile slots, small drone bays, few medium slots). Poor shields. Slow and cumbersome.
Um. Afaik. 25% bonus in ROF = 0.75 * firing cycle ----> 4/3 = 1.333... multiplyer for dps? right? So you would change a 33% damage boni for a 25% one? And this is a boost? Tachyons have great range and are unrivaled in long range damage. Pulse lasers don't have the best tracking or dps, but they come close and are still effective 40km out. Compared to blasters whooping 12 maybe 16km of effective range. So it can blast those blaster ships a minute or two before Bships can get in fireing range(If they use their tactical advantages right.)
