Originally by: Therem Harth I don't know if it's by design or not, but fanfest packages are no longer on Icelandair website(s), the "form to contact Icelandair travel agents" has been assuring me that "personnel has been notified" about Error 500 it generates on submit, for about a month now, and it is not possible to reach Icelandair reservation phone in Sweden from abroad, at least if you want anything else except listening to Swedish-only recorded announcements :( email to Icelandair gets replied with a week's delay saying "please call reservation agents". Can some kind soul (kieron? Wrangler?) clarify some simple things here maybe? - is Icelandair package deal from Stockholm still on? - are the Loftleindir (sp?) and Nordica full up or there are still rooms? - what are the alternative suggested hotels/whatever accomodation, if any, if my friends and I have to go book everything separately and not via Icelandair? Many thanks in advance The Fan Fest package from Sweden was sold out, but is back again. Though you will be staying at Loftleidir and not Nordica. The Flybus takes you to the BSI (bus) terminal where you can change to a bus which takes you to the Nordica, or you can get a cab from the terminal. There's a bus schedule, and they leave the airport in connection to arriving flights. The current schedule is only valid until Oct 29th but I guess a new schedule will be put on the page Eris linked above after that date. For the love of god, don't take a taxi unless you're seriously rich. I made that mistake last year - was ~ ú80. Flybus is probably the best option, should be about ú10. The Flybus seems to be the best solution really. The price for the bus ride is 1100 ISK. The bus will then take you to Keflavik Busterminal, which is a 50 minute ride from the airport. maybe it will even pass Nordica Hotell too. I dunno. But from The bus terminal it should be easy to take a local bus to the hotel. Yes, sorry if I was unclear, don't take a cab from the airport, definately take the flybus. You can take a cab from the bus terminal in the city to the hotel though, or just get on the bus for the hotel. Last I checked the Flybus was 1100 ISK. Cheers, EFS I believe the Nordica rooms are sold out. The Fosshotel Baron is about a 30-45 minute walk from the Nordica. I'll check if there are shuttles going or if you'll have to get a cab.
