i want to reprocess all my loot so i have learned scrap metal reprocessing to level 4, i was wondering if there is an implant to further increase my efficiency with this.. ive seen the Beancounter implant but this only seems to be for reprocessing ores and not modules..
anyone know if there is one for reprocessing modules? thanks |

Max reprocessing for "scrap" is 55% with Scrapmetal Processing 5.
All facilities are 50% base for scrap without any skill.

CCP Ytterbium wrote:Also, all refining skills and implants will now only affect ore and ices. Any item thatGÇÖs not part of the two categories mentioned earlier (like ships and modules) will only be affected by the Scrapmetal Processing skill, which will be decreased from 5% to 2% efficiency per level. That means youGÇÖll only be able to reprocess ships, modules and other items at only 50-55% rates. |

thanks Tau, yes even though scrap metal processing skill says it gives a 2% increase per level, its actually only 1%. also i thought id seen it written somewhere that you got better efficiency in low sec, however i tried it and it was just the same...
suppose ill have to make do with getting it to level 5 for a 5% increase. |

You get better efficiency for *ore* and ice at the intensive reprocessing arrays that can be anchored to lowsec towers, not for scrap metal |

Note that 10% of 50% is 5%, hence 55%. |

You can get better reprocessing in an upgraded Minmatar outpost. I believe the base reprocessing is 52% (in the outpost I tried it in). |

As I already stated, all facilities for scrap are 50%. |

From the aforementioned dev blog, emphasis mine:
CCP Ytterbium wrote: After the summer expansion, all outposts will now have a default 50% reprocessing rate (on all items, including ore, ices, ships, ammunition etcGǪ). However:
- Amarr, Caldari and Gallente outposts can be upgraded to further increase ore and ice reprocessing by 2%, 4% and 7% (for a total of 52%, 54% and 57%) - Minmatar outposts can be upgraded to add further 3%, 7% and 10% on ore and ice reprocessing rates (for a total of 53%, 57% and 60%)

All I know is when I go to reprocess a module, it lists 52% as being the base. 52% base yield, no bonus from scrap metal reprocessing, .97 reduction from station owner tax. Comes to 50.4%.
Maybe it's a display bug, but that's what it's showing me. |

Nope, you get 52% base in a fully upgraded Minmatar outpost, or at least that's what the UI is telling me right now.

In null space, there is outpost, for each race you get different bonuses (and more bonuses if you "upgraded" it) the upgrade system used to look like this : http://community.eveonline.com/bitmaps/img/devblog/devblog_outpost_improvs.jpg
I don't know if it changed recently. |
