Doesnt matter because people already have altered thier client to add this "feature", ccp is just leveling the playing field for everyone since they cant/wont do anything about the 3rd party mods.
I agree it does have its disadvantages and advantages. But if in the end it improves server performance and reduces lag, Im all for it I guess. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

you are so stupid its beyond belief. reread what you quoted. doesn't it say this: Corps with high standings should only appear in local if they have you positive as well. to avoid exploits.
wish means, even if you add Evey one to +10 they wont show in local, unless they have you +10 as well. don't post while drunk please.
Sorry I have a hard time trying to understand your retarded "solution" for "local". I should have known better then to reply to a BE member. good day. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Either by skills or mod or whatever (both?)
(ingame) If you choose to turn on your transponder beacon and broadcast locally, your Corp/Alliance security Comp. highlights those broadcasting as hostiles/friendlies as per your standings.
That's interesting, as long as it can't be abused so you can check local and then turn it off again. Would have to dock up to change it or something.
Cool, needs a seperate thread. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
