Aeaus Tabula Rasa Systems The Star Fraction	Posted - 2006.10.25 22:36:00 - [1] Well I was going to try to get in some nice fraps of all the new ships in eve, well, maybe not the caldari since I can't fly them. I managed one ship before eve managed to crash on me, back to the end of the line I'll try to get some more in actual PVP later today if I manage to get on. Myrimidon : http://eve-files.com/dl/66338

James Draekn X.E.N.O.	Posted - 2006.10.26 04:48:00 - [6] Its a beautiful ship till you actually try to use it in PvP. It needs a serious boost to drone space 250m3 minimum. It gets handed its rear-end in combat with other ships, since they have more time to pick off its drones (do to the hp boost, the drones didn't recieve the same love) then kill it. Without any backup drones, its opponents know its weakness. And dont say put mediums in its bay since they don't have the DPS nessasary to compete with other tier 2 battlecruisers. it doesn't have a tracking bonus so its guns don't hit well, and of course no hybrid turret damage bonus so its guns don't do crap for damage. Oh wait a minute, this is supposed to be a DRONE BOAT, not a blaster boat. This ship needs some serious love to its drone bay to make it what it was intended to be. A DEDICATED DRONE BC.

Erm, did you actually test it? I doubt so with all the bootings. I was on test for less than 10 mins before I got booted... not enough time to set-up / arrange a fight... or a series of fights to develop an opinion from.... basically just enough time to say 'ooh' and 'ahh'... and 'Ahh ****! Disconnected?!'.
Dracu1a Gallente	Posted - 2006.10.26 06:06:00 - [8] omg.... sexiest. ship. ever. give the drone bay some love though. kind of hard to match up dps wise with the other BC's with a drone bay that small....although i could see 5 medium + 2 heavies possibly working with 2heavies and 3mediums out at all time chipping away at ur enemy. you'd still have 2 mediums left as spare. but still, a few more m3 on the drone bay would be nice. other than that, /me Drools

Dominix is a 'DEDICATED DRONE' ship with 6 turret points a turret damage bonus...same with Vexor, 4 guns and damage bonus. I dont see what is wrong with it, 5 heavy drones without damage bonus will rip up any battlecruiser...so shhhh!

I was thinking about the same solution myself, but it does'nt work. This ship NEEDS 5 heavyes with damage/hp bonus, and space for a replacement wing. ---------------- Please fix BC Sig/Agility!

It should be at least 125m3 to field 5 heavies. And would be a nice idea to give it hybrid damage bonus or drone bay bonus, 50m3 per level, like Ishtar has. Its BattleCruiser! Laughlyn Vaughns Gallente Lagos-Vaughn Industries	Posted - 2006.10.26 22:11:00 - [22] its still a pretty decent ship even with 100m3, with my skilsl thats gonan be abotu equivalent to 10 heavies, i had dual 150's and 3 medium nos in my hislots and then my 5 slot tank. medium repper II and 4 active II's and a 10mn burner in the mid. it was a bit tight but with 5 turrets, 3 Nos and firepower of 10 heavy drones on a battlecruiser for abotu 45mill isnt to be grumbled at too much i mean come on it repps great, enuff fo ra half decent tank and plenty of mids to stasis and scramble. cant ask for everything, it is still only a battlecruiser rememebr. When i saw this ship i just thought of a naglfar....lol Drone Lv5, Drone Interfacing Lv5 plus 10% per lv to drone damage and hitpoints = approx 10 heavies (my skills) 4 heavies with drones then the skill bonus from drone interfacing to double that so 8 then 8 plus 50% = 12 but i only have BC lv3 on test server so 8 + 30% = 10.4 so approx 10 if u peopel who are testing Myr dont have drone interfacing then you shudnt be in complainign about it, i was happy with it and think it does plenty of damage vs my corp mates ships, addmitedly it may not be as much as some the others but things could be worse. Fight a Domi, do you kill its drones? nope, why? because it just releases more, so its futile. Same applys with Ishtar. If it would be too powerful to have a bigger drone bay, could we at least have a 5% medium hybrid damage bonus and a 6th turret hp? It would make the ship a little more polyvalent, and would be in line with the abilities of all other Gallente drone carriers.
