Primary Skill Reqs: -Racial BS III --Spaceship Command IV --Racial Cruiser IV ---Spaceship Command III ---Racial Frigate IV ----Spaceship Command I
Secondary Skill Reqs: -Flagships I --Spaceship Command V
Flagships are to BSes what BCs are to cruisers. The most powerful combat vessels allowed anywhere in the galaxy. They have a special weakness to Capitals, such as a nearly Carrier sized sig radius, and low speed and maneuverability.
They make solid gang warfare module platforms.
Sample Minmatar Flagship:
Tornado
8/6/7 6 turrets, 2 launchers
5% Large Projectile RoF and 20% gang module cap use.
Role Bonus: -99% CPU Need for Gang Warfare Modules and +100% Gang Warfare Module Effectiveness
Can fit 2 without Command Processors
Lots of hp, but not lots of dmg.

A Flagship is one that is unique in the fleet. Mainly due to the one who commands the ship. This person/ship is also referred to as "Primary". .

a "Flagship" should just be a ship larger than a BS, extremely flashy looking, and have all benefits be to gang combat. it shouldn't be very useful for anything by itself except looking cool.

Well it has 6 Turret slots and 7 low slots for CPU and Mining UpGrades, if it has a genarouse(sp) cargo hold... You can see where i'm going, right?

hmmmm... Might be interesting if their was only one of these ships allowed into a gang at a time.
As posted already - very similiar to a command ship in ways - and perhaps if it required CommandShips skill also and Capital Ships?? trained also it would make it more of a winner.
I generally think new ship ideas are a bit cack to be honest but in theory I think this one has bigger wings than most.

BS version of Command Ships should require Command Ships IV, Fleet Command IV and racial BS V. At the very least.

If a t2 bs had extreme training requirements i.e. heavy assault ships 5, commandships 5, bs 5, and maybe advanced weapon upgrades 5, it would definately keep them rare in fleets, but for all the training required it should make a huge difference in pvp fleet combat. ----------------------------------------------

The way stats have been going, they really would be "super-pwn-mobiles", but with the new fleet organization system, maybe a better role for them can be implemented.
You might be able to find their current stats in one of those online DBs.
The current skill requirements for Flagships, taken from EVEMon, is:
FLAGSHIPS -WING COMMAND V --SQUADRON COMMAND V ---LEADERSHIP V -SPACESHIP COMMAND V
The ships themselves would of course require the racial Battleship V skill.
Seeing that the Wing Command skill is being released in Kali-1, Flagships might actually be right around the corner!

Why shouldn't t2 battleships be awesome? think of cost of one of them. dont think random gankers wouldn't fly one around solo do to the fact that any ship can be taken down with the right group. a tech one bs should not take on a tech 2 bs and beat it. yes it would take a group effort to kill it just like a carrier or dread. it wont mess up the game, i do think though they should have a additional cost to fly them though. have it use resources to operate.

They wouldn't be that expensive. you think HACs are that price because it's waht they're worth? Check out the base price- same as a BC 
Command ships are chearper than HACs because the demand is low, due to their high skill requirement. Flagships would be just as cheap, if not cheaper, following that logic.

To me, a flag ship is a carrier crossed with a command ship.
It should have uber tank, uber gang modules, uber logistics modules and bonuses.
It should also have a 200km range for logistics modules.
And basicly no damage potential. Fighters, and maybe some BS sized launchers/guns. But nothing major.
The threat a flag ship posses is two fold, 1) moral. 2) Boosting the gang it's attached to.
Imagine a fleet battle where the primary target is tanking 30 ships because it has an UBER command/logistics ship backing it up from 200km behind the lines. See the thread about logistics changes and you'll see why I think this could be done at some point.

Flagships as I purport them to be are tech I and follow the same design lines that go into Destroyers and BCs. Thus the skill reqs are correct.
The Command Ships skill wouldnt come into effect until the tech 2 version came out.
