I'm looking for a reliable velator PVP setup. I have access to tech II modules and around 14 million isk per velator to spend.

You forgot mining lasers... ------ Originally by: Gazon In any case, the whole affair had one lasting effect: Awarding Stormriders the label of ridiculous drug addicts with a tendency towards utterly foolish actions.

Hey guys, this is a serious question. Myself I prefer to fly the Reaper into combat, when doing so I go for simplicity: 2 X 125mm autocannon II 1 X Ab (whatever) 1 X MAPC I Before anyone complains about this being stupid, I once found a guy who's oveview didn't have rookie ships turned on, THAT is stupid ;p Yes I killed him

Velators with tech II Drones are evil. Especially when it is 50 Velators

might try projectiles, I seem to remember flying a battle-velator long ago with small projectile weapons, a shield boost and a damamge mod, something like that, plus drones.
a flying abortion, sure, but suprisingly ok.

I've got fitting issues? What skills you got to fit that? And does it hold the cap with all those reppers?

75mm Rails!...
I have no idea other then that really, the best PvP setup would be naming it to ERebus or something .

Edited by: Rania Serlia on 29/10/2006 18:36:22 Edited by: Rania Serlia on 29/10/2006 18:32:00 Gank Velator is easily achievable with some skill
2x Light Neutron Blaster II 1x 7.5k scram/web/cap battery/whatever 1x MAPC
2x Hobgoblin II
And honestly, the Reaper is more suited to an MWD setup, with good cap skills you can even maintain it for awhile thanks to the fantastic cap recharge on rookie ships, and with an MAPC you can fit 200mm autos and an MWD very comfortably. You need a gank velator with a scram to tackle for you, of course.
EDIT: and the fantastic sniping ibis for ranged support of course. Ibis needs a targeting range boost though, 150mm IIs can hit well beyond your lock range with a good sensor booster.
