 Today i lost my 5th ship in 2days, most lost in my vain attempt to get all my stuff in a can with is 30 sectors away. Pirates are so*****y and great they give u a little bit of fun  before they blast u to hell eg.

oh, and stop moaning about them killing u with the lag problom. Its prolly caused by your poor connection and in any only game a 56ker is at a disadvanate get 600k broadband then u can moan.

If the where no pirates in thise game, I whout stop playning it.
1: pirates is the only one besides the big wars how keep deman for things up :)
2: I dont get board whene I enter 0,5 and low systems.

Why I like pirates?
Heart pumping,adrenaline every week when entering/exiting Empire Space.
Can't wait until Im strong enough to start farming them

ohh reptar i can tell you that the lag is just as much when you hae 1 mbit and 10mbit i dont think its the connection sense eve doesnt use more then 56kb/s except for a few times.. so its not the connection that makes you lag.. and it aint the comp either so dont even think it  its the server

I got podded the other day by pirates.
It was the most interesting thing thats happened to me in the whole game and its also motivated me to develop some PvP skills.
They didnt flame me or anything. We had a brief chat where we established that I wasnt going to give them money or implants and then I got killed.
The reason I got caught in the first place is because I wasnt expecting it and wasnt paying attention.
You can avoid pirates if you just take a few precautions, and lets face it, its not that hard to make more isk.

I love pirates because without them I wouldn't get the opportunity to sit outside a station for hours on end

I also like pirates, makes the game more enjoyable. The first time i got podded i actually laughed, talked to them after and had a good time.

I love pirates , when you kill your first pirate battleship you will be over the moon!
They are some of the toughest opponents you can ever face in the game. They know alot of tricks and have some amazing equipment on their ships. This will teach you a great deal.

I once let some Russian dudes go because they were funny and they started to teach me Russian words/sentences (pyccko huy and more that I already forgot).
