It wasn't looking at your "!" that gave me that impression, it was reading your POST. --- Monty Pythons spoof of the EVE Forums; Palin: "Is this the right room for an argument?" Cleese: "I've told you once." |

Really? I think this is the best idea I've heard on the forums in some time....

Hell with it, if the turret users can post dumb comments, so can I... --- Monty Pythons spoof of the EVE Forums; Palin: "Is this the right room for an argument?" Cleese: "I've told you once." |

Originally by: Uglyone one start to get missiles inline could be to force missile users to follow a similar linear skill tree as gunnery users have to.
like medium rail spec requiring small rail spec L4 as a example. now you can train your heavy missiles and then heavy missile spec without having small missile spec trained at all.
/me sighs as all the old arguments get trotted out one by one.
Check the skill tree Uglyone...look at how many SP you have to spend to get turrets to level 5 in all related skills, then check it for missiles. you have to spend more SP in the missile tree.
then look at what you GET for your specialisation skills...each Turret has two three variants within it's size and range class. Each launcher only has ONE.
So yes, your training is more linear, but ours is longer overall and gives us access to less modules. No, it's not exactly the same, but yes, it is balanced. --- Monty Pythons spoof of the EVE Forums; Palin: "Is this the right room for an argument?" Cleese: "I've told you once." |
