Just because pirates aren't meant to be honourable or whatever doesn't mean you have to fit stabs. Perhaps if you didn't have stabs you'd be able to have a decent setup which may allow you to take on multiple targets. And if you can take on multiple targets then surely that = more loot = more isk. But whatever, fit stabs all you want untill Kali, make the most of it. Because once Kali hits you'll find yourself losing alot more ships and losing all that isk you made/saved from not dying with your stabs before. I can't wait.

Trying to bite my lip here but just got to come out with it already. First of all, if all you got out of my post is "Fitting WCS's" then please read it again. It's about pirates not having to fight with honor because we are well pirates. Second of all, warp core stabs are not gimp. There is a reason why the module is being nerfed. It's to powerful. Third of all, yes it is possiable to defeat 2 or 3 even 4 people at once with a ship. However, that doesn't mean every 2, 3, or even 4 pilots you run into will be newbies in every case. Fitting WCS's now can defeat that many and then some. If you can't see how you can, then stop posting about combat.
So please stop crying about WCS's. Yes, it's being nerfed. Yes it will still be used. Not the point of the thread. :)

I don't understand why so many are bashing the OP.
Please distinguish 'fighting honorably' vs 'giving the enemy a fair fight'. First of all there is not one, I repeat not one army on the whole RL planet that will give a fair fight to an enemy. If you are keen on pressing reply now and mention the US army I refer you to Donald Rumfeld quote:
""In a war, you change the rules all the time," he said. "You change what you're doing in order to gain an advantage over the enemy. In sports, you assume it's a fair fight. But war is unfair. You never want to get into a fair fight.""
Thank you Donald. So if you consider Eve to be a boxing match, then fine, fight fair - one on one - exact same gear. If you consider, like I do, Eve to be a good playground for 'make beleive' war and RP  , then anything goes. It's not griefing, it's not about cheating, it's not even about exploit, because I hate all 3. It's just about immersion and getting in character.
Anyway... my two cents only ;)

I did that once.
Screw honor tbh, I do things when they serve my best interests. I don't dishonor ransoms because its bad business, not because I believe in honor. So on and so forth.

OMFG!!! Finally we have pirates admitting what has been a basic argument of the anti-pirates. There is no "honor" in being a pirate. So all of your whining about broken 1v1s about how this corp or that corp uses lame tactics or how Pirates are honorable and would never do such a thing is pure BS.
Glad to see you all finally admiting it.

I am a pirate, I "honor" ransoms and other stuff that has to do with business. I also don't use stabs since they gimp your setup
Also I think pirates can be real combat pirates; Just because you kill carebears it dosen't mean you can't kill other PvP ready targets.

Perhaps you need to stop throwing around the word Honor like you know what it means. There is no honor in being a pirate, nobody said there was. However there is such a thing as honoring your word. I personally don't dishonor my word because its bad business. Perhaps investing a few weeks into training Comprehension to Level 5 would be a good thing for you. Also it's nice to see you started typing up your posts in Microsoft Word and checking them before posting them on the forum.

Real pirates should be combat pilots because killing pvpers yields good loot.
I found that killing people who were looking for a fight was quite profitable. You have to have greater competancy than the people trying to kill you.

I notcie that most of the people *****ing about honour are the ones who loses ships because they did the honourable thing.
Maybe you should rethink honour, because it only works in combat if your enemy is an idiot.
(I am a carebear mission runner, but I would rather congratulate a pirate on a great hit and run than ***** about a module I could buy too).
