Ok what was the nerf to them? How bad did it hurt? and can i still use blood raider faction ships on the alt or are they just not worth it anymore?

The nerf is to the Nos + ECM setups that people have been using. It is the ECM nerf. There isnt actualy a nerf specificaly to Noses as far as im aware.

In fact, with the HP boost and no equivalent capacitor boost, Noferatu have become even MORE powerful in Kali 1.

I have heard rumors regarding a NOS nerf as well, but not when or if it will be introduced. The rumor I heard was there was a bottom limit to how far you can drawn down the cap of a target ship. Once they were below, say, 30% cap... your nos wouldn't have any more effect.

That would be a TOTAL nos nerf. There'd be no reasons to fit nosses on a PvP ship any longer.
Nerf them, but not like that.

nos needs a sig or tracking nerf, right now, heavy dimissihing seems to pwn everything smaller without a cap injector. Sig removed lacks EVE content, email [email protected] if you have any questions - Xorus |

Why would that be a total nerf? Your cap recharge rate drops drastically if it gets anywhere below 40%. So it would give a chance to survive an attack by a nos ship IF you have enough cap left to get that booster/repper going... And you are forgetting the advantage of getting extra cap from the other ship to run your own modules ;).

Tux wrote that he dont like how nos work atm. He told us that they are a nobrainer atm and that has to be changed. AFAIR he didnt wrote how it will get changed. Anyway there was no nerf on Sisi yet.

Of course this would be a big nerf IMO and nos small ships will suck then, its possible that nosf could get a logarithmic nerf, over timeą that the longer you use the less effective it becomes on the target? There are many ideas how to make it so that you do not always end up using nosf but it does not kill all of the cap linearly
Its possible to also have single strength for nos.. maybe if you ships computer has high strength with boost from eccm then the nosf can not be as effective to pass your ship? And those you have to use ecm to reduce the strength of the ship and to be effective with nos??? that could work with optimal and falloff then.

Nos is a battleships last resort against small ships... 2 interceptors should not be able to kill a BS solo and a tracking nerf would allow that to happen.
