I dunno.. I use GIMP... Photoshop is for folks who like to waste money. GIMP is FREE Free the Gimp!!!!
Note: I didn't bother making a 120x400 sig. I just shrank a 140x6xx one I use on another forum.

Gimp is pretty good. Although the layout takes a while getting used too.

Sig test, does this fit requirements?
Was told by 2 people, one said max was 24k, one said 22k.
I'm gonna go with what the Devs told me.
P.S., I used the "Save For Web" thing, guess it actually does change it.
...although you probably could've just done a barrel roll.

I'm afraid not, that signature is 24433 bytes.

Ugh, ill will resize it again a quality down, please tell me if it fits...
Test: Reduced quality 2 times, filesize said 21.22k, so im hoping that clears it.

PNG also does a good job of lowering your sig size, especially if you can use 8bit PNGs, and of course use a program like pngcrush to reduce the overhead.
PNG is the reason my sig is crisp and under 15KB, though it helps that it has a limited color set.
Oh, and your sig shows 23096 bytes for me, so you are fine now.
