The Bene Gesserit Chapterhouse [B.G.] is currently looking for new members to join it's ranks.
Based on many of the questions asked in this forum, we've come up with a set which we hope will answer most of your questions.
- How long has B.G been in existence?
- B.G has been active for about 6 months now. Some of our players have been playing for much longer than that and can definitely help you in achieving your goals.
- How many members does B.G have?
- We currently have 21 active members.
- What kind of players are you looking for?
- Miners, Manufacturers, PvPers, Traders & Mission Runners.
- What do you guys do?
- Mission running, Mining, Manufacturing, Research and Trade.
- How much experience do I need to join the corp? Do You accept trial accounts?
- We accept new players, even those with trial accounts but access to corp hangars and assets will be given only after your trial period is over. The older players will help you out with tips and advice. Our website also has guides and tools to help your Eve experience.
- How old are your members? Is age a barrier?
- Our corp has a decidedly higher percentage of older players and as such the average age of our members is 25. Age is not a barrier to recruitment. We all know that Age and Wisdom don't always go hand in hand. All we ask is that you be considerate and resolve disputes with discussion. Being generous is also a great plus.
- How much Eve time do I have to put in? What countries make up the corp?
- Since we're a corp whose members have Real Life families, we do not require that you put in x hours every week. But if you intend to be absent for a long time, please let the corp know.
- Our members hail from UK, USA, Canada, Australia and India.
- How do you keep in touch?
- Inside the game we keep in touch through teamspeak or skype. There is no requirement for you to have either of these. We understand that many of you and many of our current members have families and usually get to play when everyone is asleep.
- Outside the game we have a website with forums, event management & mailing lists. If any member wants to organize a mining, trade or agent mission, they just have to create an event on the website and other members can volunteer for it. Members are automatically informed through email, that a new event has been posted. This way all of us can play together and accomplish common goals.
- Do we get to voice our opinions?
- One of the most important things for the success of a corp is that it's members feel welcome and empowered. All major corp decisions are voted on by all members.
- Do you pay members for corp mining missions?
- Yes we do. Our current breakout during corp mining operation is 50% to corp, 25% to Miners, 15% to Security and 10% to Haulers.
- What is the corp currently doing?
- Currently the corp is into manufacturing of T1 Ships, Ammunition and Modules. Some of our members are also heavily into mission running. Members are encouraged to participate in all corp events.
- Do you have access to 0.0 security space?
- No we do not. We have access to 0.4 - 0.1 systems but no 0.0.
- Does the corp have any regulations?
- Theft of ore from mining operations is prohibited
- Theft by infiltrating a corporation via an alt or second account is prohibited.
- Do not use "leetspeak" in chat channels or in corporation correspondence.
- Don't respond to or initiate smacktalk in chat channels or on forums
- Do no initiate combat unless attacked first.
