Lasleinur Production [LASL]dishonored a 1v1 in Gusandal today.
The scenario was as follows, Nefertiti II, Miss Naughty, Solytare, and Amiable from Lasleinur Production [LASL] came into Gusandal while I was sitting in station there.
After some smack talk on Miss Naughty's part I offered a 1v1 to Nefertiti who I knew was in a similar ship to my own (I was in a Vexor and she in a Rupture.)
With some coaxing she agreed to a 1v1, that there would be no pods, and that it would take place in an astroid belt. When the terms were agreed upon, I undocked and warped to the prearranged belt.
The fight started and about 10 seconds after it had begun, I had Nefertiti II to less than 50% hull. At this point, Miss Naughty in a hound uncloaked, locked me, and began shooting me with cruise missles, and all of the above members of Lasleinur Production [LASL]warped on top of me (as Nefertiti II warped away). As I was warping out, I was being hit by cruises and they were attempting to warp scramble me.
After I made it away safely, I was told that the fight was unfair because I was using drones (they were told I was in a Vexor, what did they expect.) They also tried to get me to come back out in a Vexor with no drones, and made up some story about everyone just being late to the fight and wanting to watch.
The fact remains, I was locked and fired on by someone not part of the 1v1, and an attempt was made to warp scramble me, after the person I was 1v1ing ran away.
In conclusion, these guys bring stabs to 1v1s, and if it looks like they are going to lose, the person 1v1ing you runs away, and everyone else in the system allied to them then tries to gank you.

Excuse my ignorance, but if you're going to 1on1 someone with their friends still in Local, why don't you go to a safespot and gang the person and have them warp to you? That's what I've done in the 1on1s I've had so far.
Regardless, if the story is true, poor show by LASL.

Regardless, if the story is true, poor show by LASL.
Belt, safe spot, it doesn't really matter. If someone wants to gank you, and can tank your damage for 5 seconds, their friends will be on top of you. Plus, I don't mind specators... perhaps I am too trusting of corps I know to be hostile towards mine.

First there seemed to be some disagreement was to what a "duel " entailed, as nefrititi was under the impression that it was to hull, not to destruction of a ship.
We warped in to insure that you did not pod our corp mate, if you notice we did not shoot you, nor did we jump in at the start of the fight. If we wanted to gank you we would have sent our stealth ship in first, then waited until you were tackled and THEN ganked you. Or just all jumped in together. We did neither because we wanted to honor the duel. Excuse us for not being trusting as MN informed us that a gorup of 7 of your corp mates jumped him last night during a "1v1 duel".
In addition MN did not "uncloak" because he was sitting next to me at the station for the majority of the fight until nef said over voice chat she was in trouble and was concerned about being podded.
Our corp mate is newb, and didn't understand a Vexor was a drone ship, something we explained in local chat after the duel.
If something else occured please show the combat logs. If someone shot at you it was not what we discussed over chat.

i was in a caracal if i was cloacked it would take a while for me to get a lock after uncloacking, secondly what a moaner he didnt get to kill neffs ship and is frustraited.

Just to clarify the whole event was a pharse from the very onsett, as I pointed out to Karlemgne (who i had already fought in eifer a few days earlier) which i hasten to add was a 1v1 he pawned my ass with his drones, therefore i knew it wasnt gonna go my way,and after all I am a noob but enjoy pvp, and as i am a good sport decided what the hell.
Its a good excuse to have a good rant in the forums Karlemgne so good for you mate if it makes you feel better.
Plus you dont have a problem if its your corp taking our corp on 7v1 and we all love smack talk,

I have alot of respect for Pirate Coalition.. Most are pirates after my own heart.. Right up until I read these RNF whines about "dishonored duels".. Makes me weep..

As a person who has never flown a stealth bomber before and wants to try it in the future, I'd kinda like to know how long it takes you to lock someone after decloaking.

i wasnt in a stelth but it takes me about 1 second after decloacking
and 3 seconds to lock
i was in a caracel even got my kill mail from when i was podded bye em shortly after
btw stelth is good but only in a gang

As a person who has never flown a stealth bomber before and wants to try it in the future, I'd kinda like to know how long it takes you to lock someone after decloaking.
A stealth bomber can lock immediately after decloaking. A caracal with a cloaking device can't.
When using a stealth bomber in combat, I often go weapons hot, then turn off the cloak and as soon as it starts to decloak, tap my target and let weapons free. By the time I get off one round and decloak, I cloak again and the guy has no idea what just happened. (And if it's a frigate, it probably insta-popped)

I mean, I know they run and hide in stations, but to have a 1 vs 1 at a belt, while being outnumbered in local....WOW.....Second you said that these guys bring stabs to a 1vs 1 fight...hmmm didn't you say you had a message that someone was atemmpting to warp scramble you, but you was still able to warp out? Sounds like you a stab lover too. All the love for Pirate Coalition a bunch of crybabies who run to station when they outnumber a force 2 to 1....=)

For the record, drones =! unfair, same as ECM =! unfair, for the simple reason that they are in the game and there for anyone who wants them. If there's a magic gun that can 1-shot anything in the game, and it's freely available on the market in large numbers, then it's fair simply because everyone has the same access to it, comprende?
Karlemgne: Don't expect anyone in that area of Metropolis to honor 1v1s. Actually, scratch that. Don't expect anyone to honor 1v1s at all.

There is a few corps i will belive about a 1v1 and they still have frinds in local. Most dont, and i sooner trust another pirate then a carebear
