TwistedVOID WebProductions announces the initial public beta of: EVEReprocessor
If you've ever wondered how much that module was really worth? EVEReprocessor can answer that question. Using exported mineral data from the EVE client combined with public databases provided by CCP, EVEReprocessor allows you to select ingame items, perform simultated reprocessing on them and get detailed up-to-date pricing information on the value of their mineral content. How much detail?
Features Include: Uses actual CCP public databases to calculate item mineral content. Automatically imports EVE market exports. Automatically selects the most up-to-date mineral prices Compare prices across multiple regions Configurable to use your own reprocessing net yield and station fee percentages Simulate reprocessing of 1 or thousands of the same item. What are 1000 AB1's really worth?
Use it before you place that buy order to see what the actual worth of items are. Use it before you sell that item to see how much the buyer is really making.
Click action here for a screenshot of EVEReprocessor in action.
Go to the EVEReprocessor product page. and download your free copy.
Best of all, it's free.
Thanks for helping beta test EVEReprocessor and please use the product support forums at http://www.twistedvoid.com for questions or comments about EVEReprocessor.
If I posted this in the wrong place, please pass the asbestos before flaming.

Looks nice. I'll wait to install it until others haven't had any problems.

I fully understand your concern. With the flood of keyloggers, backdoor trojans and worse that the less 'adept' in our little community have resorted to, I'd be a bit leery as well. With the release of my first freeware product, the same concerns cropped up then. All I can tell you is the same thing I told that community: Feel free to run a packet sniffer on it. You'll find that it does connect to my website for two purposes, 1. to run a CGI scrip that checks for updates and 2. a second CGI script that's used to determine how many times per day users actually start the program up. If you're still worried, block it with a firewall and it should keep right on running.
Whether you trust that or not is up to you. You have my word, whatever that's worth, the program isn't some devious plot to take over everone's account. I wrote it months ago to help me find good opportunities where I could place market buy orders and now, after having a few of my corp members beta test it, I'm releasing it to the public to use as a recruiting tool for my corp.

Question is why I can't refine a ship... and why do I get errors on everything else?
'0.01' is not a valid floating point value.

To answer your question. You can't refine a ship because the databases provided by CCP don't have the material breakdown of ships and a number of other items that should be reprocessable. That's covered in the help file.
As for the floating point problem? I need a bit more details than that. Where were you entereing 0.01?

Brr I had to read the help file too? lol
As for the error, I haven't entered anything. Launched, pressed Next (using default values) at the wizard, clicked a module => Error.

The information is there. We figured it out (go to a ship or module, look at the bottom for theoretical, or open our own online calculator to see how it would work with your station percentages, skills and quantities).
The market imports are a nifty touch.
Planning on publishing the source? What license is it under?

Freeware license. As for the scource, no plans to publish it. It's written in Delphi and if I did publish it, there's only about 5 people on the planet still using Delphi.

OMG DELPHI. /me points and laughs.
I still use Turbo Pascall for some minor scripts, so I guess I shouldn't throw stones. ___________________________________________ The deeper you stick it in your vein, the deeper the thoughts there's no more pain. ___________________________________________

Hey. Delphi's not bad. It's actually kinda cool. If the source were available, it could even be ported to Linux and such. ASsuming you can still find Kylix or whatever the *nix port of Delphi was called.
Better Delphi than VB. :P
Hmmm, need something to get back on topic... er... can't think of anything...

Delphi is really nice when Pascal is the only language you comprehend the syntax for.

Try
SELECT tl2.typeid AS from_id, tl2.requiredtypeid as to_id, tl2.quantity FROM tl2materialsfortypewithactivity tl2 WHERE tl2.activity = 6 ORDER BY tl2.typeid
This includes skills required to 'create' as well which can be filted out easily. :)
