In the 24 hr DT the server should be back up at 11am? So do we still have our 1 hr normal downtime still is? If so then isn't it 25 hrs?
I am just poking holes, ignore me, over worked here. I am also super tired

I get this feeling CCP are going to have an amazing day and the new hardware will install effortlessly. I think they'll be up and running in under 24 hours as they're just doing a Scotty from Star Trek.

I was expecting an additional 6 hours or so anyway - but then that's just my experience with hardware-tinkering - it always takes slightly longer than expected. of course, this is when I'm messing about with hardware, it's probably not as bad with someone who actually knows what they're doing :P

you know that the downtime is just that long because...
well eve-system is supercomputer#2 by now because of that huge cpu-power... mad scientists requestet that ccp give em the power for 20hours so they can do huge calclulations (liek weather forecast, earthquake forecast and of course the new fission technology they need to calculate a few things...)
after that 1 hour to get rid of the scientistic crap 1 hour to install the new nodes, configuring em, 1 hour to boot em up, curse some hotfixes and another 1 hour to fix it.. in total 26hours...
hmm 26? yep, another 2 hours because somethign "went wrong with our bubbleplank plax thingy" ;-P

The best bit about this downtime, is that they've released EVE offline to allow me to get my fix in the mean time. So maybe pub + EVE CCG is in order.
(Or maybe just pub TBH)

Nah it aint kali coming out. Its just new nodes. i raise you 5 more days when kali comes out.
