Last week, we had our first Canberra-EVE meet, and three of us showed up at the pub, swapped lots of ideas and advice, drank and ate nachos. We've decided to do it regularly, and try and encourage other Canberra pilots to join us.
I'd encourage other Aussies to do similar - pick a day, time and venue, and announce it. As a newer player, it's an excellent resource.

To those in other areas - WA for example - if you want a gathering, pick a venue, pick a time, and tell people about it. Post it on this thread, and make a thread about it. Let the #Anzac channel in-game know about it. I know players from all states in Aust, so I'm more than willing to help you let people know.

My current corp (Legion Industries) has a CEO based in Grenfell (NSW), and more than half the pilots are Aussies, from Gold Coast & Ipswich all the way around to Adelaide.

I'm back in-pod, and keen to meet other low-SP A/NZ pilots (I've got 12M SP) who're keen to try out working on (and sometimes beyond) the fringes of lawful space.
