lofty29 Tolarri Conglomerate	Posted - 2006.11.03 21:48:00 - [1] Yes, I lost that vindicator. No, the loss doesnt ** me off. It's the way I lost it. Astarte hunting npcers around lowsec. I decide to pay him a visit. Warp to a belt, find him there, and voila. I lock, engage, and take him to half armor. At this time, local jumps. Curse and scorpion warp in. Goodbye cap, goodbye ability to lock anything. I look for a decent fight, and I get a 'Yey letsjustgoandbecoolandjamhim' encounter. Being jammed 100% after the scorp warped in, I lasted a little longer than 1 minute due to the curses nos. If having 1 ship totally remove your ability to do anything lock wise, and another remove your ability to repair damage TOTALLY isnt overpowered, then I guess eve sucks. The point of this post. Delete ECM. It is a worthless peice of ** which does nothing to eve either way. All it does is create whines (such as this) and alot of un-fun and monotonous fights. ATM, capacitor power and, obviously, the ability to lock faster than the other person is i-win in eve. Do not say 'Omfg ur skilz sux lol' or 'lol get sum skilz' or anything along those lines. That would not have helped here. The fact that 3 ships can take down a 5 billion ISK ship is not the problem. Yes, I know I've killed people in hi-sec and that I've used ECM, but now that I have had it used against me in a real, expensive combat scenario, I've stopped using it upon my dominix.
