I would say, let the T1-industrials how the are!
The T2-industrials should fill the role of a medium sized cargo transporter, bceause otherwise it is too easy to haul really high amounts of stuff around.

i'd really like to transport at least 1 BS in my itti V / occator, so if the size of those repackaged buggers would be halved, it'd do the trick without whacking the entire hauling/trading/otherwise

I'd agree to this if they couldn't warp to belts, but I'd allow them to warp to POS's and have access to hangars and such. Cause moving outpost minerals by hauler takes for ever. Hell I'd even allow them to warp to belts on just the fact that they have NO turret slots and that they cant open jet cans. Actually... wait no... gonna leave it as not opening jet cans. If they could that would make standard haulers useless.

Tbh i think all industrials should be able to fit atleast 2 cruiser sized ships in their holds at present. Increasing the size of indys might have a negative affect on other aspects of the game but being able to compress the ships m3 is probably the best alternative and why not!?

Now, a jump drive freighter? That I'd go for :)
id like that too but one step at a time

would the mins required for 2 to 4 cruisers + a couple of bpcs make it an easier trip? just a thought

No we don't. Without named expanders, neither of the Gallente transports can beat an Itty V. Yes, the Viator is fast and the Occator has a great tank and can outdo the Itty V if you fit nameds, but in terms of pure cargo capacity, one is not better than the Itty V and one is barely better.
