as someone said, this idea certainly has merit - i for one would love to see it implemented in some form. would no doubt make mining more 'exciting' than it is in it's current form

I dont know about you guys but im completely disapointed in how they "dispersed" the asteroids in the T2 patch. I mean I havent seen any pyro where I mine or in surrounding areas. I know its in a diffrent region though as my friend told me about it. I mean why remove one asteroid completely from an area is beyond me. hopefully they fix it soon this is getting rediculous.

They havent fixed it and I hear rumors of them flip floping the ores that are in one place to the places where the ores arent. This would be the dumbest plan yet. Pleace CCP think before you do another damaging change to mining.

Having the asteroids shrink in proportion to their remaining yield would also be nice, remember being spooked by those titanic scordite rocks vanishing while I was stargazing for a second, who knew they held only 100?
The refresh rate doesn't need to be rapid or anything, just ever so often would do.

Edited by: Cael on 16/01/2004 14:35:44 If current asteroids had different qualities, the higher the quality of the ore the more minerals it has. Then the specialized mining equipment could simply have a small factor to play with the quality of the ore you mine. That's probably the most realistic and easy way to implement it. Along with new ore types that wouldn't hurt and don't tell me that it's any hard!
