I find it funny that when anyone gets beaten in Eve the qualifiers are instantly forthecoming. Same as when I raced cars. You always had guys say, "you beat me because xxx," as if it was unfair because I thought to xxx and they did not. My response would be, "next time you should try xxx, eh?"

I think what most people are missing here is this is a 'tale' of an exciting night of PVP from Dionisius's point of view.
Its obvious to me that he seems excited about the whole night of fighting/PVP/piracy or whatever you want to call it.
And a 5 month old char that sees some1 in a carrier dock against such a smaller fleet may see him as a coward, but this seems more banter then an insult, he didnt call GM a c**k or a w*****r or a Badger slapper ?
Or has Eve got to a point that abit of banter and a tall tale or 2 has no place here no more, because if thats the case Eve has become a realy sad place indeed 
Every1 must have had the experience of some1 on Vent/TS having a group of people enthralled at there pvp exploites usually starting with 'i remember when we fought XXXXXXXX, we had 6 ships they had 90,000,000. I saw them in local and gave the order to engage......' This is what makes pirates pirates they tell tall tales, drink rum, wear dodgy clothes and Yarr in local.
I take off my hat to you Dionisius and every1 else that writes tales of daring adventure.

If I am not mistaken didn't ginger fight all of Vagabundos in Gultratren a couple weeks ago ? You were all happy and gloating for beating him 6 or 7 on 1 and he took out half of you?

Well mate, just to answer to this, Ginger was around Gultraten, probably the only time i saw him in a belt without being aligned
to anything and he had company, so if i recall right it was a couple of Megathrons.
And yes he shot down a 2 or 3 months old newbie (me), an unfited Profecy or Omen or whatever it was ammar for sure and a T2 fitted Rupture.
Other than that he was blasted to oblivion and had his mate return just to destroy the loot he left. ^_^
ANd now to answer Captain Ben, it wasn't a I WIN post or a I LOSE post, it was more like Countessa said, my point of view of an exciting night
cuz i do not mind losing a thorax or an interceptor to a carrier, hell i haven't seen or poped so many drones in my life, and i figure T2 drones and
interceptors don't come cheap... so if i say i wrecked ALOT and i am a NEWB after all, imagine what my older mates destroyed.
Lol, i figured, and that's what disapoints me, is that, it was a Thanatos, a carrier (could be any carrier for that matter), and i was expecting a hole lot
more from someone that calls himself the best pvp'er in EVE, other than just docking when you had your armour stripped down and returning with it fixed and re-setup.
For some of this post readers, guys in alliances like SMASH, BoB, ASCN, people with old chars, whatever, this is like, oh goodie they fought a carrier, i fought tons of them, but again like
countessa said, i would have never expected seeing a carrier coming out of a station, it's more of a credit to me and my mates, in my eyes, than to Ginger or anything having seen
a Tempest tank a carrier for 10 minutes, and next a Nighthawk it gave me a pretty good ideia with whom i joined forces and friendship, if this post grieved or offendend anyone well
i'm sorry to say that wasn't intended but, again, for me docking tactics in this case are like someone already said... lame.

Ginger is a pirate and it makes a lot of isk (believe it or not) out of pirating. Just because You killed his domi with a small fleet and you are proud of it? If you had taken him solo i would be impressed.
Pirates pick there fights, how many tims have you guys stayed docked when we have camped your station in evati?

FYI only reason why you weren't kicked out of the system with blaster and arty fire was because the boss tought you would be a nice training for the corp newbs, once you get to be as much as anoying, well, you'll see.

Well I have flown with Ginger back in the day and was he never adverse to fighting very out numbered - some you win some you loose. I couldn't be bothered to read most of your post when I saw "brave" and "we" being bandied about and you lost all credibilty. I guess your the brave one with the amount ships you required.
Every one loves to hate him but he is wealthy in game, kills alot and really enjoys it. It's what it's all about is it not?

why didn't you guys bump him off the station? I was quite able to bump an archon 6km off a station with a jaguar in about 30 seconds and the archon was properly killed in short order.
