As far as I can tell they are:
THETA SIGMA PSI
and that could be read as
Under divine care, neither advance or retreat. You have the righteous judgement from the Gods.
Very interesting and very fitting for an Amarr industrial ship.
There is also another symbol, the Celtic Cross. It is a symbol of eternity that emphasizes the endlessness of GodÆs love.
Thought you guys would like to know.

Perhaps you should do the geek test too --- No matter how fast light travels it finds the darkness always got there first, and is waiting for it. - Terry Pratchett |

Kinda makes it hard to get anything done in a spaceship when it isn't allowed to advance or retreat. I keep envisioning a Bestower just sitting there under its divine care, being totally pointless. |

SIGMA in a little bit more detail:
Neither advance nor retreat; wait or hold your ground, as appropriate; the best action is inaction.
I wouldn't take it too literal though. For an industrial ship, I would read it as simply saying...be smart about your actions, don't engage if you don't have to, don't act and hold your ground (in other words, don't disengage your autopilot and kick in your MWD's )

It could also mean something like "Cheap Retsina for sale here." Three capital letters could represent damn near anything.
_______ "Soon" is an ancient Icelandic word meaning "some time before the next Ice Age." |

LOL
Well those are not just any 3 capital letters. They are 3 symbols from the Greek alphabet. They represent specific meanings.
If you are from the US, you should know, it's common for colleges to name their fraternities using combinations of such symbols to convey a message or express what the group stands for.
Or did you think those weird names had no thought behind them?
ΘΣΨ <---- Symbols on the Bestower
Θ Theta = TH
Σ Sigma = S
Ψ PSI = PS
Hope this clears your doubts a bit

Except, of course, in Greek, where they're just three capital letters. Fun language, that.

What I've been wondering is when I can have my bucket of paint to paint it over, I don't really care for some ancient greek grafitti on my ship. Something middle eastern on the other hand would be rather graveyard fresh.
