I really don't understand how some can dispute this theory so vehemently. We have enough science on this theory to prove it out compared to any other theory.
I mean, when we can use the Hubble to look back to 300,000 years after the BB, and the equations work, I don't see how ppl just "don't believe it"
Well, that's the problem I guess, people think it's an idea you have to believe in, rather than see the facts. Just like all those creationists who don't "believe" in fossils, or believe they are only 10,000 years old
If there are facts to prove an idea, and you choose not to "believe" those facts, then you're just remaining ignorant on the issue because it conflicts with your own beliefs.
Many religious ppl seem to have this problem with science on the whole.
Things will be so much clearer when humans finally abandoned the nonsense of religion altogether...

Some ppl confuse belief in religion with belief in science.
Science eventually garners answers & facts, something religion will never be able to produce...
So those trying to say belief in the BB theory is just faith, you're totally wrong... ------------------------------------------------ Current Hobby other than EVE

IMHO How can we expect KNOW the origin of the Universe when we know so little about our own brains work!(i.e. the universe is more complex k?)
Our brains, in many ways, are much more complex than the universe. Every single object in the universe is, on average, moving away from every other object. Our brain has no such simplicity and is an exponentially complex recurrant neural network--I would say it is vastly more complex than the overall structure of the universe.

Lets keep theorys as theorys and facts as facts, and no wishy washy talk mingling the two.
This person doesn't understand what a scientific theory is either, apparently. Read my previous post on the topic.

The only truth religion can offer may be some historical or archeological facts.
God will never be proven out, because he was made up by man without any facts, just stories to calm the masses.
The universe can be proven out, and that is what science does, ever changing the more we learn. Only time religion changes is when followers will no longer abide by the strictness of the religion, and to keep the religion in tact, it must succumb to some social & cultural, as well as scientific pressures.
Religion is a farce, science is reality.
