I was thinking about this the other day and decided to make a post about it to give the devs some food for thought (i.e. fix stuff)
Can cap ship rigs be released? Really should be no reason against this as we have cap ship mods already like cap ship sheild reps and what not) It wouldnt really make since for a cap ship wreck to have normal rigs???? I guess at the very least make cap ships drop ALOT of rigging parts since the wreck is so darn big.
Can you make it to where wrecks have different m3 sizes as for as what they can hold? Ie. a frig wreck is 200m3 and a bs wreck is like 600m3 or something like that. That way you solve the freighter problem when it gets poped cuse you could make a cap ship wreck 1mil m3 and not have all the lag of 100 jet cans popping all at once.
Can you fix freighter killmails at the very least if neither of those options get fixed. As it stands when one dies it just a blank killmail. Kinda pointless imo. Seems to be people starting to argue about what a freighter was actaully holding.

Stupid arguements that shouldnt be there in the first place.

Sounds like good ideas all around.

right now freighters can't scoop or jettison cargo due to (the in game fiction of) the containment force fields needed... these same force fields (according to the in game fiction) keep the freighter from dropping loot when popped.
Do you think that if they fix the freighter to drop loot, they will allow one to scoop and jettison cargo? At least access a corp hanger array?

Another note: Glad to see even enemies can agree on things sometimes.

I dont think they will, though I will disagree with them on that point. Freighters are way to slow as it stands to be really used as an exploit in 0.0, empire is another matter. They really should be allowed to access corp hangers via cap ship arrays.
But really if you think about it, them dropping loot when the field is down is an easy fix because the loot is still in the wreck even when the ship goes boom. Obviously some of it will go boom when the ships does to.
So while it would be awsome, I dont think that fixing one will mean an un-nerf on the other.

It shows the rig as in cargo though, so I dont know if it was fitted or not.
