To all of you who said we couldn't do anything but wait for BoB, take note.
A good number of us fought all the time.
As for there being 2 carriers, a revelation and 12BSs last night when we ran away, check your Overview next time.
Our gang at the POS was 1 Revelation, 6 BS and 6 Shuttles...the shuttles there drawing cycles of fire away from the Battleships. Most of us have seen your Nyx in action before...we didn't have the NOS or the firepower to take it down, so we left. Our dread was also mere minutes from logging for the night to go to bed...it was almost 2am for him and his wife wanted him...I'm sure you understand.

so, I made a trip thru there the other night to see what was what, and who was about after hearing about the glorious return of Edheler and his crew. Xelas crowing on the forums here about "controlling" fountain and "ownage" and such during US TZ. 7 man scout team enters cloud ring into a Xelas Brutix, and a pirate of some kind armageddon. BS down, xelas jumped out. shocked, not really. then slow boated into 4-ep 3 ceptors meet a 15 or so ship "patrol??" I guess, it had a domi and a few af's they dictored a stargate, and scattered at our [sarchasm] superior numbers [/sarchasm] (no i cannot spell sue me.) the main force of them scurrying into deep safespotss inside 3we. we hung out in 4-ep for a few minutes to lick a wound or two. then continued into the "core" of thier "home" upon entering YZ-LQL we found 1 xelas Thorax who saddly saw a cloning facility elsewhere. we poked around for an hour or so, no "Defences" No big crushing fleet, nuthing nada. saw 20 or so of them huddled in MN5, we then grabbed a few old BS's we had up there and slow boated out. I can fully understand why Celes has zero interest in hanging around looking for xelas. they are still boring as ever. nearly got half a mind to set up shop there again.

Xelas arent worthy of our attnetion anymore. Hiding in empire for the past few weeks till u can get 50 in a gang from a 1000+ alliance, so what. We already said we werent gonna hold the outpost, pos wars are boring. Celes is about about pvp fun:
xelas dont interest us anymore, when their fleets lose 20 bs to 0 of ours every fleetfight were is the fun in that? We are gonna move on to get worthy fights! u can respawn if u like and we can use u for target practice again, we got some a few new recruits that need some training soon.

This was taken just before we hit you: Screenshot of truth
The others were at the station at the time as your lads were warping in and out when taking too much pos fire, but still that looks like more than 6 BS to me. (Thanatos and Archon were in your own PoS's)
And no, you didn't need to wait for BoB but to be brutaly honest, you only got the station back because no one else wanted to keep it. That and there was no one to stop you, bar the hours where we showed up hoping for a fight, only to see your lot run and log off for the night. With that kind of fighting spirit its amazing no one else is down here for a free outpost.

Your screenshot confirms exactly what I said. You're gonna tell me that all hose ships pulling 600m/s are battleships? Please. The Carrier pilots that you're talking about were AFK at their POS.
Also, this screenshot was taken LONG before your gang jumped in, probably by the cloaked Force Recons that were watching us. In between that time about 6 of our pilots either lost thier ships, warped back to station to repair or had to log off. BECKARD I know for a fact left the op 15 minutes before your guys jumped in on us.

Wow that's funny... Checking our killboard looks like you've taken some loses... 19 battleships, 7 hacs, 1 command ship just on the SOD killboards for 4Q 2006. And from what i'm seeing... Looks like a number of celest are jumping ship.
Xelas is not a PVP alliance and has never been.... We don't claim to be... But we can and will kill any one not blue in Fountain.... Will we take loses... Sure... But the beauty of an industrial alliance... We can replace our loses pretty easily... While on the other hand you have to go to empire or get your meatshields to make or steal them for you.

You killed 19 of their battleships in 3 months?
Oh wow. You truly are uber.
I think CELES's problem is your chest beating. They have destroyed hundreds of your ships, taken an outpost, left the outpost so you could take it back, and now they are bored of you and are walking away.
You took back an outpost they abandoned, and which you shouldnt have lost in the first place. 1400 V 130? You have achieved nothing of any merit against them, so stop the chest beating and get back to what you are good at - mining and humping BoB's leg.

Back on topic of timezones, lateness and the will to fight. Yeah RL calls and makes us its biznatch still all members of EST that were in PNQ were Euro's as far as Im aware. Think I logged off just after 3am.
Either way there are always options, snipe bs's, fighters etc etc. Point is you decided not too attack us and given the fact you could take thestation back as soon as we left then it was sensible... However we were ganking people at gates while attacking people at the Stn and before we were in PNQ getting those leaving PNQ, I mean two ravens in a row...does nobody pay attention to intel channels, is it now ok not to secure gates when taking down POS's, what about the thorax I killed that had been in Xelas a day...did nobody think to warn him?
Again to clarify my point you lost a lot of ships due to nothing other than carelessness, I mean movinga BS without a scout in 0.0 that you know is likely to be hostile???

If CELES are all about the PVP, then why did they pick a fight with Xeleas in the first place? Xelas are obviously an industrial alliance - were they ever 'worthy' of your attention? If you're looking for PVP, then I would expect your next fight to be with a PVP corp.

On the contrary - it would appear that Xelas tactics have resulted in CELES deciding to go and fight someone 'worthy of their attention'. The end result appears to be a win for the carebear alliance against a dedicated PVP corp.
It also seems that CELES have learnt a valuable lesson that should stand them in good stead for the future: If you want PVP, go fight PVPers. Funny, as I type that, it seems almost too obvious
