So with the disbanding of N3 and NA, why is there a need for something like the CFC/Imperium. Isn't a 30k man coalition with nothing to coalition against detrimental to the game? I mean NCDot reset virtually all its former allies, but GSF still feels the need to wrap its fingers around the necks of most of the northern allliances, indicating that they are hollowed out husks of what they once were.
I don't even think CCP can social engineer the game out of the blue donut GSF wants to continue to maintain, even though the reason for its entire existence is gone.

You imply that a coalition exists solely to coalition against something. You are, in fact, hilariously wrong.

It's not gone. Because if the CFC would disband and each alliance would go their own way now they would face aggression from other smaller groups which don't stand a chance against the whole CFC but might try their luck against smaler parts.
And many of the alliances in the CFC imho are not able to stand completly on their own feet for long and need goons support to live. Goons on the other hand have a lot of benefits to be the leading party in such a large group.
Besides all this has nothing to do with what CCP does because humand beeing will allways band together in larger and larger groups. |
