Which means one of two things: - RATEL got on their knees and accepted the offer from E-R, which was no better than the offer SMASH gave them months ago. - E-R gave them a better offer, which frankly I find amazing, that you would even need to do such a thing with all that other backing. Im getting this into my bio for future comic release

What did you expect? well er and the rest were also not friendly to ratel, who are now at your wings as well...perhaps a deal for them was made shouldthey ally they get tde back should you take it? purely speculation on my part. seems to me the northern buddy system only wants weak holding alliances in geminate as a distraction for other space hungry alliances to attack and then you kick them out? im beginning to think that this whole attack was based on the premise that smashkill could become powerful enough to resist the the full north. perhaps er wasnt rly crying for d2...but rather said ok theyve managed to hold of our forces comprised of corps x,y,and z and alliances a,b,and c...we now need d too(pun intended :D ) before they get strong enough to hold them off as well. i always welcome pvp and excitement such as our current situation provides. however i do find ironic that ratel and er agreed to the same proposal we gave er a long time ago, which supports my above theisis on why we're here. i dont think its a matter of who was originally hostile with who, as said, er is now rallied with ratel, who were hostile before as well. as well as the amount of support er has called in to fight a war with a foggy purpose, even foggier with the addition of ratel to the mix.and only reason ive been able to come up with is the above...also interesting is there were some pure that were asking in local what we did to deserve this attention, few of them were completely unsure as to why they were pvping and not carebearing like we should all be doing .i sure as hell couldnt help them, and noone else responded to them in local either, we just started talking about planets and stars. fact is geminate could have been/could still be an incredibly stronger region of the north had we/should we all decide on a truce rather than attempt to kill the muscle addition to the region. keep in mind these are my own thoughts and have no reflection of what other alliance members think/feel. other variables enter the geminate strength equation with all this empty space around here, a region opening soon with a gateway via geminate and the reds space...lv and -v- probably wont have space in 3-4 months...and who knows whats going to happen to ascn/axe/pos in the south. i just get the feeling we should be making geminate a stronghold rather than attempting to rid it of an obviously tough force. its like being a body builder, and having your right bicept amputated because youre worried it might get bigger and embarass the left. rather than building them both together and pushing off whatever wieght they can throw on you both. (yeah thats a terrible analogy but its all i got atm :P) well see all of u in space...shout out to recon man in d2!

If I was part of an alliance that is fairly well known as a decent pvp corp I wouldn't want it to be dragged under by a bunch of new members stabbing everything up, logging off in battles and getting over excited on the forums every two days

SMASH Alliance	Posted - 2006.11.12 18:04:00 - [97] yeah i could be mistaken...i think that was one of our moving carriers...gets to be a real pain if youre jumping back and forth combat stuff from lowsec and you get scrambled, thats not how theyre fitted for combat :) i think to date tho ive only encountered 1 er hac that didnt have at least 1wcs on...almost let a raven get away that had 2 stabs a week or so ago...a week before that we had 4 points on one and it got away : / . not pointing fingers at anyone...just putting my hands down because theyre used pretty evenly in both alliances.
