I find it interesting that the same Tukoss who had been missing for quite some time and recently turned back up is again in the, how shall I say it, the spotlight. It is disturbing that DED and CONCORD are trying to hush this up as well as their attempts to intimidate the Scope personnel.
We capsuleers may not always be the most humane, but one would think that with our combined resources we would be better capable of seeking out Tukoss' last position and discover the staging area the Drifters appear to be using.
I think we certainly need to redouble our efforts get a better handle on the uses of the Entosis link and figure out how to adopt the Drifter tech that is allowing them to stabilize wormholes for their private use. That is one avenue that may lead us directly to where Tukoss is being held, if he still lives, and have the added benefit of possibly giving us technology to stabilize (even create?) wormholes for our own purposes. |

Baljos Arnjak wrote:I think my prediction won't be too far from the mark =) TLDR:
- DED/CONCORD **** off the Drifters
- Drifters blow up Yulai's star with the same weapon that caused Caroline's Star
- Gate and communication networks (local) goes down until capsuleers can repair it (maybe with E-links), meanwhile we get around by way of wormholes.
- Sleepers invade via wormholes and mop up CONCORD, which are reduced to faction status and don't police anymore
- The empires have to control their own space against criminals now, but are unable to match CONCORD's ability and allow capsuleer assistance in raising sec level of systems (occupancy empire)
I think the large structure in the video is the Caroline's Star super weapon, and they're getting ready to use it again! And no, EVE is not dying, it's being reborn like the Phoenix
Assuming that the Drifters were not already planning to do that to CONCORD - they might have simply ramped up their schedule given the investigation into and resistance against the Drifters, it would certainly make sense as a means to disrupt everyone. But to what end? Surely they would then expect us to then ramp up our own R&D into stabilizing and even creating wormholes. It would be a bold move that not even the Sansha attempted - though given the occasion they fleed Oasa through the normal gate network, they might not have the same level of confidence the Drifters have in the wormhole tech. |

This could be the same one or a different object. Looks like the size of an Iapetan Titan to me. /rp off completely here: the structure reminds me of the Taidan Base ship from HomeWorld. |

Also noted should be ticker at the bottom of The Scope piece on Tukos reporting that capsuleers are applying pressure on CONCORD with regards to their alliance registration. I postulate that should CONCORD be attacked by the Drifters then there would be a significant consolidation of CONCORD and DED in and around high security space to maintain 'law and order'. The significant benefit of this to capsuleers will simply be that CONCORD's ability to limit our actions will be curtailed.
There also must be other uses for the tech released by Carthum apart from their current application on the Jovian listening posts. |
