Hello,
i was wondering what the "Export Taxes" in the "Command Center" and the "Launchpad" mean. If i follow this guide:
https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Planetary_interaction#Taxes
I would pay 12k taxes for 20 P1 materials. If i try to export 20 P1 materials in the Command Center, it shows me exactly that amount, 12k ISK. So what does the 3 ISK Export Taxes in the Command Center mean? It doesn't look like it would affect the taxes in any way, otherwise i'd have to pay more than just the 12k, right?

120 P1 material, office tax is 15%, makes 7.200 taxes, no idea where/when i have to pay the 3 ISK |

I consider the 3 ISK in the Command Center table of the site as outdated or wrong.
The cost to lauch goods from Command Center into space (in a Container) is 15% tax from the value of the goods.
The cost to export goods via Launchpad to the Customs Office depends on the owner of the Customs Office. To which %-tage he set up the tax. Some take 10%, some 15% (identical to the launch via Command Center) some take more (17% / 20%).
So if a Customs Office owner takes more than 15% tax it makes sense to launch the goods via Command Center instead of exporting to Customs Office.

I was under the impression that launching into space instead of to the customs office restricted the amount that could be sent. Is this true or is the only difference the tax?

Is this true or is the only difference the tax? Thats true. Because the Command Center store is limited to 500 m-¦. So this is the max amount you can launch in one step. If you have more goods to launch, you can move the goods from Launchpad or Store to Command Center and launch a second bunch off 500 m-¦ and so on. |
