You all heard the CA teamspeak chats and our name mentioned.
Well i have been slightly absent with exam time at uni so i was quite surprised with this turn of events.
But from what i have gathered it all came down to the fact that we are listed as a military Partner of the CFS.
WE ARE NOT and never have been.
Whats more, we have never done any work with CFS or even communicated anything with the CFS.
I want one of the CFS head ****ers to verify this not only for Xetic, and CA but for everyone including yourselves as you seem to have a lack of organisation in the alliance.
...or is this a way to keep the focus of a second war of you?

Then can I ask WHY CFS had you listed as a military partner? Wouldnt that imply some sort of association with them past a casual one?

I think perhaps they were confused. We at STK are always friendly with non-pirate corps. STK is NOT HOSTILE to CFS currently.
At the time of the inception of the CFS I personally had some encouraging words to say. I still believe in the CFS and speak on friendly terms with certain leaders like Teister and Edward Preble.
As a corporation STK for a while stood with CA in defense of our sovereignty. I personally consider this turn of events most unfortunate in that it has caused a primarily trading and research corporation (STK) to come into conflict with so called "anti-pirate" CFS.
Our solution has involved an external realignment of STK politically. We now consider ourselves to have a NAP with factions of the CA and CC in as much as that is possible with their recent troubles. We have sought to make amends to SA and certainly to Omega. We would certainly like to consider ourselves as having a NAP with CFS.
We must keep in mind these are large groups of very diverse people, stuff happens.
This may be more explanation than you deserve however and as I am only the preacher for my corporation I stand to be corrected by our leader.
I am fortunate in my ability to claim I have a leader. As it has been my experience that most pilots cannot follow instructions or adhere to their own stated doctrines, should they even bother to state their doctrines.

Honorable corps are scarse ;)

I am not certain if there was ever a time when CFS forces were engaged by STK. I don't think so. I certainly offer my apology if they were. I am certain that CFS forces never shared command of STK forces, despite at times sharing the same goals.

Just mine in areas protected by CFS, probably one of those corps that rely on CFS keeping space clear the disapear when chips are down.

Edited by: Beneb on 10/11/2003 03:33:26 A2, call me crazy but I don't think anyone from STK has ever been their except for our explorers, and that was about 4 months ago lol.
I've been with STK for a long time and we've never been allies of CFS. We were no threat to them and basicaly we left them alone and they left us alone. I don't see why it is assumed that if people don't fight then they are allies. People need to realize that there are such things as people who leave each other alone and get on with their own lives.

I've checked our alliance and associates list and do not find STK on it. STK may have been present in CFS space at one time as many peaceful companies were. Like all law abiding citizens they were free to come and go and enjoy the pleasure of mining in relative safety.
I'm not aware of any military connection between CFS and STK so I hope that verification is satisfactory.

And for The Scribe and Cardassius, STK has never operated within CFS space, explorers, and maybe some npc hunters but nothing else ever. You have NOT seen Bistot miners from STK in your area, so please stop spreading propaganda.

There are soo many things wrong with this trollish statement I can hardly begin... I won't.
We should perhaps consider the meaning of protection. It probably would have less to do with arrogance and intemperate viewpoints. Such "chips" as you describe seem well deserved.
