we're using singularity for the pvp tournament where players should be enjoying a nice, lag free area to put their leet pvp skills to the test.
I'd rather not have players turning up in dreads trying to gank people for giggles.
Just remember, your access to singularity is a GIFT, not a right.

theres only ~64 players on SISI max at the moment though 
EDIT: P.s: normal testing procedures will return after fanfest :)

thats why we have forums.
The only players in SISI are those participating in the PVP Tournament, so they will be fighting, not chatting to you.

If we, regular players, didn't have access (not that we've had a VAST amount in the last 3 weeks anyway) then testing for this new release would take HOW MUCH LONGER? Alot for sure. Ask any company that uses "customer" testing to test out it's products... it's a hell of a lot quicker, and a hell of a lot more useful than just in-house testing.
So it's fine that the PvP tournament uses SiS, but it would have been nice to have been told, or for it to be put on the MOTD. It's another example of lack of communication from CCP, IMHO.

Many people think it is their god given right to access the test server, but this isn't the case.
I agreee that without player help, Kali testing would be a more complicated matter and we ARE gratefull for the valuable input gained by our players.
As for the lack of communication, LeMonde did make a post here regarding the matter.
