so i saw some reviews of this.. is this real? i mean dx10 so i can get ubbah gfx?

Kali Three Release - April 2007
Our final graphics engine upgrades and a similar feature set to Kali One. To clarify a bit, EVE "Classic" is a DirectX 9 engine, which is getting an upgrade. We then have the EVE Vista DirectX 10 engine, which is being created from the EVE Classic engine, but with a focus on utilizing the new features and optimizations in Windows Vista. Both will continue to live, both will have the same content. You don't have to use EVE Vista unless you want to. Note, also, that EVE Classic graphics engine upgrades might be released earlier than Kali Three.

yes, the 8800 will be the uber, but you wont be able to use it, common, were asking microsoft to make sumthing thats not buggy LOL

I just installed the GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB PCIE dual dvi DDR3 in my Dell yesterday.
Replaced dual geforce 6800sli cards.
Installed drivers from site instead of driver cd.
Absolutely no problems.
It is a big and heavy card. 1ft. long and 1 inch or more wide.
XPS 600
P4/HT/3ghz
160g hd
1 gig mem.
Performance from nvidia monitor while playing Eve.
CPU- 21%
Memory 67%
GPU-160 degrees F
Ingame FPS- 45-72fps 60fps average
Running full screen - 1920x1200
Wonderful card.

i think your CPU and your RAM are a lil' bit weak for this beast of Graphics Card.
Try a AMD Dual Core with 2,5 GhZ @ both CPU and 2 GByte RAM and you will be able to run EVE twice in this configuation ^^

I have one of these as well. C2D E6600, 4G RAM, using the 8800GTX to drive a matrox TH2G, 3840x1024 res. I run two clients, both using the "fullscreen-windowed" method (EVE Launcher.) Works great. I love this card. Gets REALLY hot tho.
Can't wait for the graphics refresh. :)

It looks great. Smooth frame rate and no more saw blade edges.
Good enough for me.
I'm not hardcore. I use this computer for casual gaming and watching movies. I use my dual monitor setup most of the time for surfing,stock trading,bill paying,phone,etc..
Did not expect to have a new card this soon.
I received this card from Dell for $150 because my dual Geforce 6800sli failed while still under warranty.
There are issues with those 6800 cards.
I will add 2 more gig of memory probably next week.
That's about it for now and it is vista ready.
