2. Framerate Degradation - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
I had this happen yesterday as well - one of my two clients had the framerate drop to 3-5 fps, restart to fix it. never happened on the other client. It acted as if hardware accel had been turned off on that client.

it ignores the height and width settings in prefs.ini (as you've found. :) ) You need to set it from the ESC menu in-game, 1280x960 is an option in my list, you probably have it as well.

6. Only part of the screen updating - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I'm pretty sure I had AA enabled prior to the Kali patch, so my guess is that something changed in the client. I'm still having framerate issues (compared to pre-patch) as well, but disabling AA helps that a bit as well.

7. Only part of the screen updating - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Originally by: Harry Voyager Disabling Anti-Aliasing did it, but you can leave AF on, and it will work. Addendum: After a degree of trail and error, I've discovered you can, in fact, enable AA, and not have it do this. The catch is you ca...

I have a similar system. E6600/Gigabyte DQ6 mb/4G RAM/EVGA 8800GTX. The big difference between your system and mine appears to be the audio - I disabled my onboard Realtek after I got tired of the constant popping and *****ling. I have a Creative...
