I'm recording and uploading the feeds from the Eve fanfest 2006, I'll upload as soon as the files are available, and as fast as my uplink allows me to.
The end of the filename is the time of the beginning of the recording, GMT+1 (Western Europe), each part weights around 36MB and lasts 15 minutes, so as sample eve-fanfest-20061111-1800.avi goes from 18:00 to 18:15 GMT+1.
Its a raw recording of the ASF feed, so recommended player is VideoLAN.

Heaps of thanks, feed kept dropping out on me.
The EveTV people should automate this, putting a torrent up as soon as the broadcast is finished.

Right now I'm uploading 4 more parts, from 16:30 to 17:30.
Those are uncomplete, there's cuts.
I'll resume the uploads as soon as the broadcast resumes :)

anyone having any probs trying to watch these? WMP and a few others can't fast forward or select time, and a few others can't even read the files properly

For me who lives on the exact otherside of the planet GMT +12/13 depending on time of year (New Zealand) and im sure there are lots of auzzie players who think your a god aswell when they wake up
edit: Kappas use videoLAN oh and there will b no fast forwarding cause its like a live web feed (untill someone with the know how converts it to a divx or something hint hint)

VideoLAN lets you fast forward, but a corp member was on the TV during that time, wish I could have it

go to www.torrentspy.com and make a torrent file with all the video's on it so we can download from there, that way you wont have to upload so much and we can download it to our hearts content = )

I'm updating the first post now with the eve-file linkages.
For the story, this server is mine, and for the domain where the files where hosted there was a maximum bandwidth limit set to a half-randomly high value that in my mine would never happen, well I was wrong, it did happen 
That's around 500MB per visitor, multiply this by few thousands and you get the picture. The network was doing good and the bandwidth limit was technically speaking far from being reached, but I have dozens of customers there, they're paying for a top quality of service, and the Eve downloaders do not, I hope you understand :]
Next time I'll put on anther box or will directly upload to eve-files.com

The 1630 link doesnt work fyi. The file name is ....1630(1).avi not 1630.avi as linked.

Can someone who's got these files to display graphics please convert to some standard video format. I've tried Real player, Quick Time, WMP (ugg), music match jukebox, am about to retry using iTunes... it wasn't working properly for some odd reason. Anyway, all I can get in any of them is audio and an error message in some of them stating that they aren't video files.

Could you guys upload the streams before 1630?

Am i the only one that has somewhat large gaps between the "episodes" ? at the end of some of the parts they've come to the conclusion of the speakers presentation, or to the juicy parts of the Q&A after the presentation, and then it just stops, and the next video jumps what seems to be several minutes.
So I would like to know if anyone that has the raw recording could/would release them in theme/speaker packages instead of time intervals. In particular I would like to get a hold of Creative director Reinar Haraldsen's presentation on Good & Evil (sorry if I spelled his name wrong, went with what i think the presenter said and Icelandic names can be a bit tricky to non-Icelanders). It starts in the "1645" segment, and continues in the "1710" segment.
