Not at all just bored of them not wanting to fight me. All they do is hide or warp away or cloak when I try to engage them. Think that they are wasting their clients isk to be honest unless their client asked them to only kill new members of the alliance.

Ive fought man many corps alliances and mercs as many in TNT know MC for a fact are a fearsome group of mercs who if you spend your money with, will fight and cause havok in a group they are contracted against. If you are thinking of hiring a merc corp to fight your battles you will do well not to contract these people spend your money with a group who have a backbone.
My advise to those who need a Merc corp hire MC or someone else dont even waste your efforts with TNT

Smeggy, it's obvious they are going to do hit and run tactics all the time, that's what they are being paid for and besides they don't have the numbers to engage a whole alliance face to face. I think this post wasn't necessary at all. Actually this kind of smacktalking gives us a bad name.

War is hell.
We, in TNT, are Mercs. That makes sustaining long term friendships outside the corporation difficult, even at the best of times. What does make it more simple is that everyone always understands that tomorrow we could be shooting you, if the isk are right. I don't know of a single one of our pilots who haven't been up front and honest about that. It's not personal, it's business. If you can't differentiate between the two the problems lies within you, not us.
A mercenary corporation is a business. We cannot afford the luxury of discrimination on the basis of "Role Play", "Friendship", and "I'm your aunts, cousins, uncle's, step brothers, dog's former owner" connections. Does that mean I like or dislike any of my former corp or alliance mates less? No. I still like them, but what I like has very little to do with the needs of the corporation as a business venture. I have bills to pay, so does everyone else.
As far as our effectiveness goes, I'd echo Tyto and point any interested parties to our KB and then follow that up by pointing out the posts here, and the smack talk in local that goes on. Then I'd further point out who's making the insulting posts and smack talk.
Actions, as always, speak far louder than words. -=BlackPrince=- "Fair fights are for suckers."

The mercenary life must be a lonely one. If the only people in local who can ever trust you is your fellow corp mates. After all anything a merc learns while chatting or flying with you then be used against you at a later point.
I can see it being easier in Merc Alliances like MC where there are multiple corps and alot more people to talk with and fly with vs TNT which seems to have around 30 members.
I once considered the merc style life but then no one would accept me because of my low skills (both in SP and noobness). The more I hear about how mercs work in eve the more lonely it must be.
But I am glad that highly skilled merc groups do exist...as it provides some wonderful training and learning times...and gives the underdog the chance to hire someone to help them out if they dont have the skills or experience yet.
Hats off to TNT for a frustrating but instructive fight so far.
I am definatly training covert ships just for the pure frustrate your opponent part...(Of course ill finally be able to fly the thing and cloaking will get nerfed in Kali or something)

not quite true there greenbolt if we are not A at war with them B in 0.0 space they can trust us not to shoot them, after all we are not pirates. We at Trinity Nova offer up our expertise and knowledge of tactical combat, not randomly kill innocents, each and every kill on the Trinity nova enemy information board was well thought out and executed.

IT is very enjoyable to see the NMTz alliance once again coming under fire, in the forums, and in-game.
I only know a couple of Trinity Nova pilots, but i know they are advisaries you would not like to go into battle against.
Keep up the good work guys

No wonder I was confused I thought that NMTZ had hired TNT and were unhappy with their performance. If the title was correctly labeled "sad whining because we're too scared to undock" then I wouldn't have wasted my time.
Killing noob pilots is a good way to undermine an alliance and it creates large volumes of ridiculous whining in alliance channels, and sometimes the forums. Cool an orange sig |

It's about picking the fights that will allow us to be most effective and maintain a profit margin.
This loss for example was where we did tackle a medium sized blob. The outcome was a rupture and scorp loss for us (just the cost of the fittings) and 2 x typhoons, 2 battle cruisers, 2 assault ships, 3 cruisers, a destroyer, and a pod as well as the OP's Claymore for NMTZ.
A great fight, one many of TNT's pilots really enjoyed, and in direct contradiction of Quote: These so called fearsome mercs as they call themselves are spineless non fighters. They only fly with cloaks on or hide in stations.
So far, apart from some of the unfortunate 'in character' smack, it's been a lucrative contract.

i think you got the wrong end of the stick here mate. No-one's saying TNT ripped em off. So please go back and re-read the thread.
Smeggy was trying to imply that our client had been sold short by us because he thinks we're awful mercs. Our killboard suggests otherwise and our client is quite happy as far as I am aware

Pwned.
Like I always said, the wars half won once the targets start melting down on the forums.
I may have had my issues with Trinity Nova management before I left the corp, but I knew from the start of this thread that it was nothing but bluster from the target. If youre at war with TNT, they may win or they may lose, but either way youre going to know youre at war with them.
Another thing to consider.... the goal of the contract is not always to achieve a lot of kills. Its entirely possible that their client had some completely different reason for hiring them, and kills were just a secondary consideration. Either way though, a quick look at the TNT killboard shows that the OP and his alliance are getting the royal beatdown, regardless of his damage control efforts on the forums.
