The rental scam prohibition is actively enforced by Imperium leadership in order to protect our good name in the eyes of our clients. Why the Imperium? Being the strongest coalition in the game, the Imperium is able to effectively control, protect and acquire space for its members and renters. By renting from the Imperium, you will enjoy a significantly reduced risk of losing your income and will be fully protected from wide scale invasion. Home defence fleets are active every day and no organized harassment of renters is tolerated. This allows our controlled regions to be the safest part of nullsec. What services are offered? The Imperium has long-standing experience in renting. Our highly successful previous rental program provided renting service to many happy customers under the Dominion sovereignty system. To take advantage of the upcoming changes to game mechanics (aka FozzieSov), we are introducing a new type of renting service that can be highly competitive in the new geopolitical reality that is taking hold in New Eden. A core tenet of our next-generation rental service is flexibility. To ensure a personalized program and customer service, the Imperium makes available two different options for renting: Renting a system for your corporation - RGP program Renting personal membership in our renting corp - HIR program

You gain ownership of the rented system, giving you the right to do everything you desire in order to make it your home, from ratting and mining to invention and large scale industry. This service is designed for small to large groups of capsuleers that want to enjoy the benefits of 0.0 without the need to worry about PVP and defending your space. You will have your own system to call home, either in Deklein or in Pure Blind. Guaranteed sovereignty for renters to utilize as they see fit Large variety of available systems, including systems with ice, high truesec and upgraded stations Low-cost opportunities for blooming corporations or individuals (affordable systems that do not include stations) Jump bridge network 0% Tax Refineries Set up your own POCOs at a tax rate of your choosing (even at 0%!) Easy access to empire via our jump freighter delivery services System/Station upgrades - you bring it, we install it for you!* Ownership of moons up to r32 (some exceptions for Imperium military purposes) Belt/Anomaly exclusivity in your system Access to region-specific intel channels Rental fees Truesec +1,000,000,000 per 0.1 point of truesec Station +1,000,000,000 for a station Ice +1,000,000,000 per ice belt Dead end +500,000,000 if the system is a dead end Rules in Imperium space Below is a summary of key rules - for a full list, check out the Official Renting Rules You can deploy towers (POS) on any unclaimed moon in your system(s). All R64 and some R32 moons are reserved for the Imperium. Cyno Jammers are not allowed. Any other POS modules are allowed. CSAAs can be anchored under specific circumstances. Refer to the above extensive rule sheet for this. No ratting in other Imperium space, except for designated pipe systems. You are permitted to travel within Imperium space to and from stations in order to dock up/log and trade on local markets. Note: You are permitted to complete escalations in other systems (read below). Rental corporations are responsible for AWOXers within their corporation. If a renter member damages the property of an Imperium member, the renter corporation has to fully reimburse the loss. Imperium will not protect your space from roaming gangs or campers, only from organized harassment. Nevertheless, you are still able to contact any nearby Imperium fleet, who are probably glad to get a fight and help you out. Note that sovereignty is protected in all cases by the Imperium, without exception. You are able to briefly travel into other Imperium systems to follow escalations - however, you will be shot on sight if you are in a non-escalation ship (or if you are loitering in a system without doing an escalation). Please always copy paste in local chat a screenshot proving your escalation. Rent is charged on a prorated basis for the month you join and is always due on the first day of the month for each subsequent month. This is a - low-cost - opportunity that enables individual players or groups to participate in our existing rental program by joining a dedicated corporation. Members are required to pay a one-time membership fee, and thereafter are only taxed on their use of the exclusive HIR systems. We have specifically dedicated multiple 0.0 systems with good truesec (at minimum -0.45) and infrastructure hub upgrades for HIR use. These systems are bustling with plenty of combat and mining anomalies and will provide a steady income to all renters. Guaranteed systems that only HIR members can use Good truesec, with access to an ice belt Low-cost opportunity - fees are based on your use of the systems Access to the Imperium jump bridge network Easy access to empire via our jump freighter delivery services Belt/Anomaly exclusivity for HIR members Access to region-specific intel channels Opportunities to join with fellow HIR members for any kind of isk making activity (and some PVP as well if you want!) With HIR you can access all of the mining anomalies in the assigned space. If you have the manpower to mine an ice anomaly by yourself others are not allowed to mine it but if you are running it solo it's free for other people to mine with you, there is plenty for everyone. We will buy all the ice you mine at Jita split price (the difference between the sell orders and buy orders). You have to provide your own boosts for now. Hope this answers your questions.

I have heard good things about your contributions to our rental programs in the past and it is good to have the attention of an experienced junior associate. You bring up an interesting point - what is different about this next generation rental program? I will endeavour to explain. When we first heard of FozzieSov, the common opinion shared among our leadership was that this would kill renting programs due to making renter sovereignty very challenging to defend. Because of this, we put our old programs on hold and started helping our renters with their future plans. Some highly active tenants were extended invitations into Imperium alliances and were accepted as full-fledged members. Others chose to stay in periphery regions of our space, where they would attempt to make their own claim at sovereignty. A few became tenants of competing rental programs that planned to continue even under the new sovereignty system. Saying goodbye to our many reliable tenants was held as unfortunate but unavoidable. However, as time went on it became clear to a group within the Imperium that our lobbying efforts in the CSM were having an impact - many of the updates you see in the latest dev blogs have been instigated by our CSM representatives. Our theorycrafters found that a renter system could still work and even be highly beneficial to us if we let go of some past dogmas. This was discussed with leadership and the Mittani gave his seal of approval to start a new rental program under the guidance of the core team who had laid the plans for this next generation approach. The main change we are doing is that renters will no longer be in a rental alliance but in the Goonswarm Federation alliance itself, with other alliances potentially also included if the rental territory is expanded - for now, we keep the rented territory close to GSF space to be able to easily validate that our assumptions hold true and that we can effectively use the revamped rental system once FozzieSov arrives. This change has multiple points of impact. As you have no doubt read from the dev blogs, high system indexes will massively decrease the vulnerability window sizes, making our space easier to defend. While the present indexes are somewhat ham-fisted, CCP plans to expand the index system even further to provide a more granular and more accurate depiction of real activity taking place in the system. By ensuring that our space is highly populated, both with members and with renters, we ensure that our sovereignty is very hard to challenge. The crucial innovation that we include all tenants in our main Imperium alliances enables Imperical forces to effectively defend all our territory, without the need to place and/or move alt characters into renter alliances. While the intricacies of the Entosis Link mechanism remain to be battle-tested, we have confidence that the combination of native residents and tenants will prove a very effective and profitable arrangement for all involved. In addition to the relatively mechanical goals of maintaining strong sovereignty, we have always felt that community building is one area where we can have the most impact. In the past, rental systems have been sparsely populated and on the periphery of our space. However, with the bringing of tenants into our heartland, we wish to ensure that they are efficiently integrated into the community. The old filters between members and renters are being removed to a large degree - for example, the intel channels will be shared by all and renters will have access to many alliance services that have traditionally been withheld or offered separately. The exact community building methods are still being worked out and will evolve organically but for the moment, I can state that we want everyone living in our space to truly feel that it is their home. A private beta program has been successfully running for a little under a month now, with the main kinks on our side ironed out, and we believe this rental program structure will allow us to face FozzieSov with a very strong claim on space and create a vibrant community in our tightly packed space. Early indications about CCP's future plans are very positive with regard to the future of the Imperium and its tenants.
