Should Signal Amplifiers get a boost? Are they underpowered? Overpowered? Just right?
Currently: Low SLot CPU: 20 PWgr: 1
Tech 1: 15% longer targeting range 10% Scan resolution
Tech 2: 20% longer targeting range 15% Scan Resolution _________________________________________

They need a boost. These things are garbage in their current form.

Yeah, they need a boost. They also allow 1 extra target but that part of the bonuses rarely gets used(in my experiance anyway). I think they should follow the tracking comp/tracking enhancer model. just increase the targeting range on it and lose the +1 target bonus. May need to reduce the scan resolution bonus too but personally I don't think so.

Wow, lot of interest in this module. Oh wait, nobody uses it because it's garbage. Sweet.

does the +1 target effect the ships stat? or the users ability?
if its the ships limit maybe it could be useful to someone. ------------------------- I am a nobody of IMP my views are my own. |

Ships stat. Sometimes handy on stuff like a scorp (assuming you actually bother with multitasking) or frigates and stuff.
But otherwise, these modules are mostly inferior to anything else you might fit in your lows.

Give them the same targeting range as sensor boosters but a slightly slower targeting time, to minic the relationship between tracking computers and enhancers (same optimal bonus, worse tracking bonus)

they dont need a great boost but a little would be nice.
all slots for a ship are valuable, why should a mid slot module be so much greater than a low slot?
how about a mid slot damage module that was twice as good as a low? doesnt really make sense does it?

Yeah, mids should do 50% range and lows 50% locking speed
