Is it possible to implement an update which makes the mining laser color dependent on the mining crystal that is being used? This would greatly improve the mining experience. |

I like it as a QoL thing, but think it belongs in the little things thread, stickied at the top of the page.

I approve of this message so it should get done.
At 5 drones of T2, the Tristan is nearly as powerful as the Algos, with a cheaper price tag, better maneuverability and speed, and smaller sig radius to avoid the lazy carebearish T3 station blapping -10s who have no life. Pick tristan for FW.

Would it be connected to the ore base color?
Then i'd like to have 10 high slot mining vessel to use all of them at once. Roids rainbows lazor beams. |

1 color for each type of ore and ice.
It would be more of a large scale mining operation management benefit. It's easier to distinguish who is mining what by visually distinguishing their mining lasers.
Different ammunition have different colors. Why should mining be any different? |
