Offtopic, but it was really cool meeting you at FF. :) I know it was short, I wanted to sit and chat but I was running around like a headless chicken. Couldn't find you later on. :(

Can someone please post a link to the patchfile for manual downloading?
I go to Eve Patches on the menu to the left and I can't find the file there.
I clicked on a link someone had put in a message and it said I have the latest version 25245, but the patch notes say 27121 is the latest version and my clients all say they are running an incompatible version.

In case anyone is scared of going ahead, I can confirm that the auto patcher worked fine for me. Windows XP Pro using an administrative equivalent account.

I reckon it's the image thumbnails for the news section at the character selection screen. The first thing I noticed after I logged in after the patch was that many of the news items FINALLY had small images attached, ie a burning obelisk for that downed Gallente relief convoy (aka covert attempt to annihilate innocent Caldari civilians).
Ironically, they ended up attaching the Caldari logo to all the Gallente news items. ---------------

Oy. The patch crashes for me at startup, grabbed from two different places to make sure the patch file wasn't corrupt. Right after I choose where to apply the patch, I get a crash dialog; I guess I'll send off the minidump file to support...

Originally by: Mack Dorgeans I left the room for a few minutes, came back, saw no progress and tried clicking the "Details" button to see what was going on. That's when it froze and I ended up with program not responding.
Luckily I had an old build in another folder that was able to patch through, though now I've probably got a lot of settings to fix, bookmarks to shuffle, etc. Hurrah for sloppy patching.

All you need is to copy /cache/settings folder onto new install and you are all set with all your settings/BMs.
Yes, and thankfully I was able to retrieve those from the "corrupt" client copy just fine.
Lesson learned: make a backup of your settings or even your entire client folder every so often, especially before Revelations goes live.

I cant download the patch from it current location. Please, can anybody mirror it somewhere (or rapidshare it) ! PLZ.
My browser just says there is no page/server/whatever available at the http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/evepatch25245-27121.exe
CCP, please, mirror your patches some other place than http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net For some unknown reason I cant reach that server.

For those having problems with the manual patching under WinXP (patch crashes with error):
Right-click on the patch executable, under Properties select run in Win 2000 compatibility mode, press OK. Apply patch.

After I installed the patch, I tried to load the game up and it just froze at 'Acquiring Bulk Data.' The little bar's been done for like twenty minutes, what's up with it?

Any details on what these smaller fixes are ?
I did notice that one of the missions I did today that usually has a blank popup box when you warp to it actually had a message there. So are the deadspace texts fixed ? -----------------

Downloading it off the website took no time whatsoever, for me. Don't bother letting the client try to download it, just grab it yourself.

Might want to tell the techies that compile the patch to clean it of the useless thumbs.db file which is a windows OS file created when you browse a folder which includes pictures and they are displayed as thumbnails or filmstrips... You'd think before they compiled it they would check it includes only required files...
Its the equivalent of your Store personel leaving their Mars bars wrappers in the packages they ready for shipping ... not very professional Tas

There's a multitude of reasons why the patch download performance would be different between your dialup connection and the connection you get through your office, a lot of which have nothing to do with the game, the patch, or CCP.

I'm sorry, this was almost the last thing I did yesterday, I did alert people to this thread and it looks like you can now download the full 27121 build from the downloads page. I added patch notes yesterday almost immediately after posting this thread, but never linked it in my post, which has been updated with them now. I spent today going home from Iceland, with delayed plane and waiting for trains and such, so I'm pretty tired. Can't wait to get back to Iceland though, hopefully as soon as possible.

Sadly I was busy elsewhere, but it was nice to meet you and hopefully we can sit down and talk next year. Maybe a bit about the fact people *still* talk about the jockstrap.

Apparently, after this parch, the standing loss for refused/failed missions has been added to Faction Standing even if they aren't storyline missions. It is a feature or a Bug?
